Ironman the movie

Oh, yeah. When they were talking about Tom Cruise in the part, I abandoned hope, but that was then. It looks like it's going to work.

Check the look on Downey's face when he's trying out the gauntlet. That's Tony Stark's face, man.

Doooooood, look at his face when he fires up the repulsor-ray gauntlet. The only thing is the goatee, and I saw some artist's renditions of Tom Cruise wearing it. Now there's a nightmare for ya.

LG has a site up called "insidethesuit.com" with a few more clips. The login code is "LG99" Nice selection, and they fill in some of the spaces around the "trailer" material.

Damn, Paltrow NAILED Pepper's look from the first year of the comic book, and when she lets her hair down... mrrrOW! Downey is a fan, you can tell. And Favreau (who cast himself in the part) does sort of look like "Happy" Hogan.

The Onion has a story up making fun of how much of the movie has already come out in the clips. :D

First worrisome bit -- I'm not sure how much more of RDJ's heavy breathing I can take. Okay, a flying suit is BIG fun. We GET that. But stop with the panting, for heaven's sake.

I would never have seen it if Cruise was Tony Stark even though I have always loved the comic.

Downey, Jr seems perfect.

Not sure about Downey playing IM
You're probably not old enough to remember the groans of disappointment when Michael Keaton was cast in the first big Batman movie. When the movie came out, people flipped. Same thing here, I'll guarantee you.

Despite all of his personal problems I've always like Robert Downey, Jr.'s work.

I have seen the film, and you are correct...it was a stroke of genius casting robert downey jr...he was excellent in the film, and the film itself was highly enjoyable...plus if know anything about the background of tony stark...cool little contest i saw while at the film
contest

LOVED IT! I'm planning on seeing it again before it's out of theatre. I don't care for Downey Jr much, but he makes the PERFECT Stark, IMO. Can't wait for the next one!
