SO, WHAT EXACTLY ARE PHEROMONES?
Pheromones are just one more method that a person uses to size up another person on a subconscience level. Sound far fetched? Consider this: will a female (or male) draw conclusions about you based on hair style, hair color, body type, body odour, clothes, or facial expression? Yes they will...and pheromones may help overcome some or all of these.
