Introduce yourself

I thought that this would be a good way for everyone to get to know each other here. Feel free to post a little bit about yourself, your goals, hobbies, what ever makes you, the person you are. Post as much or as little as you are comfortable with.

This goes for the vets as well as the new folks.

A new guy on the web site, but already I can see the importance and wisdom that is here every day! I am 25, like to work out but never seem to find the time to dedicate myself. Been married for almost 6 years, and have one little girl that takes up all my time. Enjoy working out, all sports, cars, and stereo systems. my daugter, and future children is what makes me ticks.

Anyone mentioned long walks on the beach & sunsets yet?

I'm 28 & a reformed fat ass... 2 years ago I rocked a 37" waist & 14.5" arms @ 190lbs & a 135lb bench.

still hate the way I look but hopefully I'll be where I want before 30.

i'm 21 years old (approx. 185cm and 90kg {pounds ??}) and trying to find some motivation to get back into working out. up until i went overseas for three months last november, i was working out very regularly but only for around 1 1/2 to 2 years. i had a really great gym partner. working out with him kept me pushing myself to the next level and kept my motivation to keep on coming back to the gym day after day. I suppose the main motivation was that i almost automatically saw results.
unfortunatley i dont speak or see that friend anymore! since going overseas ive lost all motivation for working out. for the last two years i lived really close to the gym and now ive moved further away (no real excuse - its only about 10 min drive now!). combined with studies and work, i just seem to have lost the drive that i had. anyway, im hoping to get back into it asap. stopping exercise has put its toll on the body. the love handles and gut are becoming a little too prominent!
im going to start with a nutrition overhall, and i was just wondering if anyone had any ideas for a very low fat (but high intake!) diet i could go on? or any place i could visit on the web, or any book for that matter?
anyway, this seems like a great thread. im new to this, and as another member mentioned before, ive been pretty amazed at the level of community apparent from my brief time here.
keep up the good work, any help would be appreciated
peace, jim
