Hey everyone. Representing Kansas. Just joined and i hope to learn alot about lifting and getting in much better shape. You could say i have "ok" genes. I'm Hawaiian/Phillipine and some "white" lol. So i got it pretty easy for natural muscle.. and natural fat :worried: I haven't lifted in 3 weeks and have put on 10 lbs. of fat instantly. So heres my short lilfting history.

I'm 19, 3 months ago i weighed 185 at 5'6", and i got really motivated to get into shape so i started lifiting really hard just about everyday. Soo, needless to say in 2 months i weighed 155, AND i found out what overtraining really was. Soo, now i've been off working out for about 3 weeks (ie. what i mentioned above) and have gained a lot of fat back.

So there you have it. I hope to learn a lot about lifting, and probably some stuff about AS.

Welcome to the boards brother!!

Hello everyone!
Just joined...currently in US Army and stationed in Korea. I have done a variety of programs.

I am basically 215 and holding onto 18% bodyfat. My goals: functional strength increase and reduction of body fat.

ANY suggestions highly favored. I am looking for a decent 3-day split, incorporating cardio into the regimen.

Looking forward to reading great info,
Steven King

Hey everyone...I've been away from Elite for a while...but now I'm back...doubt anyone over on this board remembers me...I'm usually on the anabolic board.

Right now I'm on the verge of graduating college with a BS in Clinical Exercise Physiology. Also working as a personal trainer. When I'm done here, I'll probably go on to graduate school for physical therapy (DPT or MSPT). And then I hope to use those credentials to get a job as a strength and conditioning coach (I just passed the CSCS exam) at the collegiate or professional level...and if i can't get a job that satisfies me...I'll fall back on physical therapy and open my own gym.

If anyone has any questions about training, nutrition, strength and conditioning, steroids, etc...feel free to shoot me an email...I must say I have alot of knowledge in all those areas, and can probably help you out...but if i don't know...I'm sure I can find your answers for you. I have access to pretty much any journal out there, and am always willing to help people out when they have questions.

Anyways, good to be back at elite...and to anyone who knows me...drop a line sometime. For everyone else, I'll see ya on the boards.

Happy Training...

Welcome to the boards brother!! You might want to check out the anabolic forum for feedback on your questions. Lots of very knowledgable people on there.

Hey guys,

Basics. I'm a 36 year old male. Height 6.5ft,weight 225 (approx).

I was recommended to this site by a friend at the gym. I'm not an avid lifter, or at least have never been in the past. I've always had a good metabolism, and am pretty active generally. My natural build has always been pretty good as well, but definitely not "bodybuilder" material. Now as I'm getting older, I find myself needing to work harder just to maintain. More importantly, I know there is a lot of wasted effort on my part, and I'm anxious to start working smarter.

What really prompted me was a friend telling me about HST. If anyone is familiar with it,good or bad, I would appreciate any help in learning more. If there is a better way, I'd be anxious to hear about that as well. My goals are not that different than most non professionals. Any added muscle would be great, as well as a more sensical and efficient workout routine. I especially want to work on my abs, which have never been that great (no six pack) but have been tight. Also, I have very long arms, and I feel as though they hamper me with bench exercises. Any advice in that direction would be helpful.
