Introduce yourself

Just turned 40, 5'11, 205, 9% bodyfat-- I have abs, arms, great legs, an ass, great shoulders and more attention than I ever had in my 20s and early 30s. What an amazing ride it has been this past 5 years since I stopped drinking, finished a PhD, ended a shitty marriage of 13 years-- total transformation of my life, spirit, mind and body and still working everyday on making progress. I used to get teased a lot as a kid. Now, I am totally greatful for the years I spent as a gymnast. I think it set up a solid foundation for the changes I have been making. Also started training with a competitive bodybuilder this year-- wow, I have so much to learn. It is about diet, rest, recovery, intense workouts, variety and most of all having a great sometimes grunting sweaty time at the gym with friends.

Hello all. 36 years old, 6'2 and trying to turn 205lbs. into muscle instead of grizzle. I'm new to the site and am looking forward to learning from all your experiences.

Hi !
I’m 27. 5’9. About 125lbs. When I was 17 I looked myself in the mirror and decided to work out, I did it for a year. Now I'm back again.
I’m a hard weight gainer, I think that’s because I hate eating, I mean the process of eating, don’t know really why.
I’m an engineer and used to be a full time snowboarder, I still practice it so I don’t want to loose too much flexibility and I do lots of cardio every day.
I go to the gym because I do like the shape of my body when some muscles can be seen, that’s all.
I’ve learnt a lot in this forum, lots of really professional people here. Glad to be here.

6', 175 Lbs (Which I'm guessing is pretty good for my age, 16). I joined this forum in hopes of getting insight on how to lift weights in order to be bigger and stronger for hockey. When I'm not playing hockey I'm practicing my guitar, on the computer, or out with friends.

Bench: 255x3
Squat: 225x10
Deads: 315x10

Training pretty heavy for college rugby (Vanderbilt). Ideally would get up to 185/190 by the end of summer. Stacking Cell-Tech with Prolabs weight gainer to try and achieve my goals a lil quicker.

Hey everyone. Representing Kansas. Just joined and i hope to learn alot about lifting and getting in much better shape. You could say i have "ok" genes. I'm Hawaiian/Phillipine and some "white" lol. So i got it pretty easy for natural muscle.. and natural fat :worried: I haven't lifted in 3 weeks and have put on 10 lbs. of fat instantly. So heres my short lilfting history.

I'm 19, 3 months ago i weighed 185 at 5'6", and i got really motivated to get into shape so i started lifiting really hard just about everyday. Soo, needless to say in 2 months i weighed 155, AND i found out what overtraining really was. Soo, now i've been off working out for about 3 weeks (ie. what i mentioned above) and have gained a lot of fat back.

So there you have it. I hope to learn a lot about lifting, and probably some stuff about AS.
