Injection ?

Can I use the same pin to draw from a vial and inject, or am I risking infection by not changing to a new pin?

I think its more of an issue of how sharp the pin is after using it to draw. I would use one to draw and one to inject. There is a big difference in a new and used pin as far as sharpness goes.

I asked this question to a million different people bro.....still havent done my first shot.....nurse told me its ok to use the same needle.....but some say change it............it gets dull.......if i were you.....id spend the extra few bucks and buy more needles...1 to draw...1 to shoot....even if it helps a little.......wont hurt....

I draw with the same needle everytime. It costs less than $1 , so why wouldnt you make that huge investment. The needle you shoot with will not be dull and the needle you draw with should be bigger anyway

Drawing and shooting with the same pin is safe so long as it is sterile and untouched by an unstrile surface. When using multi-use vials, always sterilize the top before drawing. This being said, I always change needles before injection. A fresh, sharp pin makes a big difference. They are not expensive and worth it in my opinion.
