I have a strong background in psychology, and special interest in psychoanalysis (I am not a psychologist or a psychiatrist).
What made me curious was the abundance of available erotica on incest - many people must have interest in reading (and writing) it. I have only observed men so I will only discuss men.
Remember: I am only talking about 'FANTASIES' OR interest in reading fantasies, - not any actual sexual orientation or sexual experiences. If you think logically about my theory, the two couldn't coexist as that would be contradictory in itself.
Don't give your opinion if you think (like movie 'analyse this') that Freud was a sick man because of his 'oedipus complex' theory. In psychoanalysis theory, 'sex' is a strong subconcious force, and it symbolises a large number of non-sexual behaviors and experiences. It makes sense if you look at all the life-forms, from unicellular organisms to plants to animals: Procreation is the 'STRONGEST' instinct in all species and all life-forms.
My theory is that MEN who 'FANTASIZE' about incest, OR are interested in reading 'FANTASIES' about incest, are those who had a deficient childhood experience:
1. Lack of nurturing experience with mother as a child,
2. Lack or absence of good or fulfilling sibling experience as a child.
It is a subconscious attempt at compensation.
Psychoanalysis theories that are accepted by some or many experts are:
A child who steals from mother is trying to compensate for a lack of nurturing emotional connection with the mother.
'SOME' (not all) men who 'OBSESSIVELY' stare at women's breasts have a lack of nurturing experience with their mothers as children (a compensation).
Please don't laugh, specially if you are a woman. I know many men are just dogs.
This is something different.
