Importing Prescription Drugs ... Clomid

WeeMan

New member
I had heard you could import personal supplies of med's into the US. but I've heard alota debate about it I just found this info on the US Customs Site @
http://www.customs.treas.gov/imp-exp/trade/tools/archives/vol1n03/presmed.htm

It basically says you go to Mexico and get a doc there to write you a scrip 15-20 will do it from what I've heard take your scrip and med with you to the border and declare it then your safe. They have to let you and it in according to the law. So I am gonna go grab my clomid legally maybee..... some other stuff but what ever I do I am going to do legally so I dont get in any trouble
Hope this helps clear up any confussions about importing

Actually as I searched more ......

You dont have to have a prescription look

"A new bill was recently passed by Congress that amends a portion of the Controlled Substances Act (21USC956(a)). This amendment allows a United States resident to import up to 50 dosage units of a controlled medication without a valid prescription at an international land border. "

I went to Mexico and got HGH. I declared it and brought it back. They asked if it was anabolics and I said no so they let me threw.

Before I went across I asked the department head on the US side if I could do it and he said yes. So I am sure you will be fine. Just ask before you go. It is not illegal to ask.

And the amount you can bring is a 3 months supply. But I do not really know what a 3 month supply is. Is that 1 pill a day. Or 10 pills a day.?

It is illegal to import controlled substances, no matter who manufactures them. Technically, noncontrolled substances imported must be FDA approved. Presently, this means the substances must be made in the USA by US manufacturers. This is supposed to protect the public from counterfeits, poisons, etc. customs has a 90-day rule, which has been quoted many times..it is not a law, but a courtesy. What people want is to be able to import the same drug manufactured by the same US company OVERSEAS--at a cheaper price.

What I've been reading on the Customs and FDA Websites says that you can bring a foriegn medication back to the US and only at LAND CROSSING'S and that you can't mail them or have them mailed UNLESS it is done through a DEA approved agencey. So from what I have read you go to Mexico and buy some Clomid US made or not you can WALK it back declare it and go on. I've talked to several people today who say they have done it no problems.

Ok, heres the deal, I live right on the border of TX and MEX.. and all you have to do is declare (not AS or controlled substances) your purchase. You park your car walk to Mex and you can buy novladex, clomid, nizoral shampoo, propecia, antibiotics, or whatever, as long as it is not a scheduled drug, schedule 1 etc. The great thing about it is, the drugs cost about 60% of what you would pay in the US if you had a script... You then walk back across the bridge and at the checkpoint you declare the items that you bought for personal use. It is that easy. I did it yesterday with retinA.---

Even with vallium or xanax, if you get the pharmacist to write you a script, you can bring back a 30 day supply and they will not screw with you.

well, this sounds good, but how about buying clomid from a pharmacy online and having it mailed here in the US? Is that legal? I doubt it, because no script is involved, but Weeman said something about not needing a script. Can you get away with importing clomid via mail LEGALLY or not?

Hey Creole.. So what your saying is that as long as you have a script for clomid, nolvi, propecia, etc. you can cross with no problem. Just as long as that same drug has been approved for use in the U.S. Do they like whip out a list or enter the drug into a computer when you clam it at customs? Otherwise, how would those ASSHOLES know what it was? ;)

I think he's sayin that you don't need a prescription to bring those few things back across. At least that's what I got out of his writing. I know for a fact that you can walk back across with antibiotics, but not sure about Clomid - what exactly is this classified as anyways? All you have to do is show them what you are bringing back across when they ask "do you have anything to declare." Also, I believe there's a tax on liquor if you have over 2 bottles or something like that, but that's no relevant to the subject, so we'll not talk about that anymore.

You Got it KeyMastur
When you walk across they ask you to declare anything that you have brought in from Mex. At that point you show them the box of clomid, novladex, Viagra etc - like I said, as long as it is not AS or a Narcotic you can bring it back.. You do not need a script from anyone to bring these back.. You only need a script for the drugs that are considered "scheduled"- this is like vicodin, xanax, or vallium.. which you can get.

If you go across and buy a "Scheduled Drug or Narcotic" and do not recieve a script from the MX Pharm DR (usually just written out on the pad by whomever happens to be working behind the counter) then you need to either

A- not purchase it in order to make sure that you stay within the law, or

B. Chose to break the law and stick the box of vallium in your sock when you walk back over.

But, I repeat, you do not need a script for medications that are not considered a narcotic. And AS are illegal no matter what, if you declare that, they will look at you like you just tried to declare a pound of weed. Most of the ins/border patroll guys know what all the drugs look like and they will not hassle you if your not bringing back a narcotic.

Also, there is either not a rule or law that dictates that the product that you buy has to be made in the US or they do not actively enforce that law. Almost all medications that you will pick up in MX will be made in MX. I have crossed 50+ times and I cannot recall them ever looking to see where my meds were made. And they have never looked at me funny if I bought an anti estrogen for personal use. They probobally look closer at how many bottles of alc. you are bringing back across than they do at what medications you are bringing (at least where I cross) In fact, time before last, they did not even look into my bag when I told them I had purchased medicaitons and It was after the 11th- so I thought things would be a little tougher, this was not the case....

why would mail order be diffrent? jes write on package medicine for personel use (declaring it) and then they check it out why is it diffrent?
