vitor's striking still looks good after all these years. when he hit the scene his hand speed was like nothin anyone else had seen. very impressive. id like to see him fight a few other dudes before making a comment on vitor vs. anderson.
omg I can't believe I missed the fight tonight....been working on my forums all night I didn't even notice the time...this is the first time I miss a UFC fight in more than a year
Anderson would win. I think he's a more talented guy on his feet and bjj is about the same 4 both.
franklin & lindland = jobbers
butt, Vitor has more classic boxing training
aren't you a proponent of that )
yeah but who has he beaten lately? jeremy horn?
thought Vitor was once an alternate on the Brazillian Olympic Boxing Team or some shit like that![]()
Look at his record Traz. He's a good mma fighter though. I've been in a fan of since the 90's.
Now Machida has a good chance. His style, speed, and have trained with Silva gives him the insight on how to beat him. They both know a lot of each other training and how they set things up, that they both know how to beat the other. What a great fight that would be.
Anderson and/or Machida doesn't have considerable (if any) more classical boxing training than Vitor.

Professional boxing career
Anderson Silva has had two professional boxing bouts. On May 22, 1998 Silva took on, the then 10-2, Osmar Luiz Teixeira and lost by second round TKO. He stepped back into the boxing ring in August 2005 to face Julio Cesar De Jesus. De Jesus had never boxed before as a professional and Silva won by KO in round two.
You don't even know much about boxing Pick3, so I don't expect you to understand.
