if you believe the minimal research and opinions of 'expert doctors' who have studied AAS typically the muscle fibers will repair themselves twice as fast on AAS than not on them. take that for what its worth.
there are no rules to lifting though. you can work the same muscle the same day if you want. or ED, or EOD, or every week. just don't make a habit of pounding the same muscles over and over. our good friend Ross likes to workout a muscle group, wait a couple hours for the glycogen levels to come back, and then work them again. I don't recommend this for newbs but for the advanced lifters its something to do once in a while to really push the muscle over the edge. what I like to do on or off cycle is a 3 day split, you can read about it in my signature below. this works the same muscle group roughly every 4 days. however I will also sometimes do back to back days of the same muscle group every couple months. the pump you get the 2nd day is incredible.
