Ideas , thought on second date

ok meet Tina online, first date with her was last weekend meet at resturant bar type place just to see if we were clickin, had Attraction thing going, good conversation, laughs ect. (no didnt get pics or laid), my question is tonight i go pick her up at her house, would it be cliche to take her a flower? like one rose, yellow? I like this girl so far, what do you think?

No, she'll appreciate the fact that you were thinking of her and that you took time to get her a flower. You might consider a Sunflower or something like that. Because the rose is all too common.

Bahahha my friend got one of those in Italy. It was either stolen or fake because he got it for like 10$. Wore it all year and we finally stole it.
 
i think that you shouldn't, save it for a next date, especially given the circumstances for ur first date, u dont have nearly enough background no her to go out on that limb........ it might snap
 
I'd leave that for like the 10th date, once you want her to know you're serious. Two dates is definately way too early for flowers.
 
No need to overthink. Do what feels right. If you want to give her flowers, give her flowers. If you like her, don't play games. Just go with the flow and enjoy the time you have together.

One little flower wouldnt hurt
You could hand it to her and say "i was in Albertsons today and saw this flower and thought of you so i picked it up for you, i hope you like it"
it really shows your interested and you could possibly get a hug:)
 
two things can happen, well three actually

1) she'll like it and like you better for it

2) you'll freak her out

3) you don't do it which makes 1 and 2 are null and void
 
What the hell kind of psycho freaks out over getting flowers? If a girl freaks out about that level of "commitment" run. :rolleyes:
 
Tulips don't last long. Not even a day. I've always been a bigger fan of more than 1 flower. Minimum 3. The last time I got flowers I was really surpised. Lots of bonus points. I felt incredibly special.

Last winter break I was seeing this girl who I was hoping would be more than a friend. I did so many sweet things for this woman. We did the usual thing a casual couple does...go out, mess around, blah. Well, turns out she didn't want a relationship. Sometimes when I would open the car door for her or bring over a thoughtful "present" (like her favorite candy), it seemed like she appreciated it, but it pushed her away. At least I knew where she stood at that point.

You really have to get a feel of what this girl wants. While bringing a flower might be considered a meaningless thoughtful action, she might analyze that as "omg, this guy is taking "us" seriously." She might put up an emotional wall and run away from you. On the other hand, if she's interested in the same, she might choose to get closer to you.

When in doubt, do what feels right. If she's into you and you want something to come of this, give her something playful (sunflower or tulip is perfect). I think it would be too early for a rose. This way you get her on the same page as you, even if it's for one night.

Oh yea, if you give her a tulip, get 6 of them. Keep the dates fun and casual...be yourself and act natural...

Hey there, bubba, on the question about a flower: I have never seen anyone that didnt like a little consideration shown to them. Its not like your giving her a diamond ring or somethin.
What I do though, which you may consider, is picking flowers myself. First off some girls dont like roses, and they also kindof have aconnotation. Wildflowers are just pretty, no big message. Second it shows a lot more thought, IMO to take the time to actually pick a few flowers yourself, in thoughts of her, than to just plunk down a couple of bucks for some refrigerated rose.
Just my thoughts, good luck bro.

One rose not yellow or red if you know her favorite colour get it n that if not white, trust me red and yellow have to much meaning she will red into. LOL

Go play pool or go to some place like Dave and Busters that shit is fun. What ever you do don't take her to the movies boring. Be yourself and she will like you with out a doubt your a sweet heart.
