there seems to be one big theorem thats consistent for how life turns out for me.

its all about how i deal with the little things that seem inconsequential that either eliminate them, make them good, or really make them screw everything up royally. i guess someone thats not really hard on themselves wouldnt think this, but gosh dang i look back and see everything that i feel that ive messed up doing and get so pissed at myself for not making better choices. it makes me semi-anal about stuff...

anyone else this way?

If you learn this now you will be way ahead of the game in the long run.

"PERSPECTIVE"

What may trouble us in life is not what happens to us, but usually, how we react to what happens.

Or as the first-century philosopher Epictetus put it, "What disturbs people's
minds is not events, but their judgments on events."

one thing that i really have a hard time getting over, moreso that my best friend, is when you think that you know someone that is close to you but you really dont know them at all compared to what you think you did. its a paradigm (sp?) shift in your mind, and i would compare it to having your world seem upside down.

I've been through the same thing with my best friend.
Someone I thought I could trust and count on all my life.
But we all change!
The only person you can really count on is yourself.
Make yourself strong!

winter spring summer or fall... (tell me youre a JT fan!)

do you see it as a very hard line to feel... either to compromise yourself for the chance to really help someone or to just cut ties and trudge on?

It is very tough.

I have realize we are all here going through pretty much the same
things in life. We are growing everyday! We make different decision what we think it the best.. But who really knows?

I will be here for my best friend, if she needs me. And maybe one day she will
and maybe one day she won't! But I've let her know I am here if she does. And that's all I can do! So I'm getting more and more at ease with this decision.
