did you really try? that would be awesome. what are the sacred undergarments? arent mormons allowed to have tons of wives if they want? he would probably love a blumkin, who wouldnt!!?

Mormons no longer practice having multiple wives. The sacred undies are like long undies ......cover ya whole body. Think it's so you don't touch yourself. Yeah, I really did .....said

Hey Mr. HR dude if ya don't suspend me I will give ya a blumpkin. My friend Salami says you will like it.
He said.....My religion forbids Salami. We only eat Kosher.

That was the end of it.

Star,

I had the same thing come up when I worked at my last job. I surfed all the time and this site had the Boobs and butts thing on the front page. Well, some bitch in my dept. tried to rat on me looking at "porno", so I had to show my boss this site. He thought it was trivial and basically told me to watch my ass. THis same bitch would try to sneek around the cubes to see if I was looking at more "porno". Talk about fucking ridiculous. I can understand your frustration, but there are always more jobs. Maybe you would find something you like better.... Good luck,

Jim

Thats the salami man I remember.
What she should do is accuse her boss of saying he wanted to fuck her while looking at those gay porn sites. It might be a pain in the ass(no pun intended) but it might work.

go in the bathroom while hes taking a dump. hes not about to say no. if you need a job i will pay you 5 dollars a day to be my sex slave.

Okay, I'm going to carefully weigh in on this one.

I was let go from a company because I violated the internet policy. In that instance, the policy was that you were not to visit sites that were not business related. Didn't matter what it was, just not business related. It was suggested at the time that I had pissed someone off, and this was their way of getting rid of me.

Getting fired from that place was one of the best things, professionally, to ever happen to me. The jobs I got after that were much better.

Now, on the flipside of that, I'm one of the IT guys that has to monitor and respond to "internet violations". We're setup in such a way that if someone goes to a "bad" site, we get notified. Once that happens, we look and see what site it is. If it's against company policy, we turn it over to HR, and let them make the determination about what to do with it.

I work for a smaller company now than the one that term'd me, and I think that smaller companies tend to be more forgiving of these sorts of things.

So anyway, I guess my point is, we're not all assholes.

Hope you skate out of it with just a warning.

As bad as this may sound, I am with Binky on this one. If you knew you were not suppose to be surfing the net or non business related sites, then why did you do it?

Sorry, I have no sympathy for corporations doing what they must do to keep with their bottom line. They are in business to make money, not provide random entertainment for employees. They pay you to work, not surf.

I hate it for you at this time, unemployment is high, and you will probably NOT qualify for unemployment compensation since you were fired.

when it comes down to it i dont think companies should let their employees use the internet for anything not related to their job. they do though. i wont.

The sad part here is that if star was visiting sites all day long and her performance was suffering, then yeah, can her like green beans. BUT, if she was like me and used the net for recreation for fifteen minutes or so a couple times a day to relax your mind and look up from the spreadsheets for a minute then it would actually be enhancing her performance. I am for real here too.

The archaic minds of the generation before X have no idea about things like the Deming management method. I was taught that shit in school by a good professor. Most power thirsty bosses feel that much more powerful for busting your ass and having the ability to monitor you, so until you get a job with a boss that is not corrupted by the lust for power you will face this dilemma.

Hey, we're both in DFW, lets start our own bidness!!!!

gymnpoppa....where ya at?
