Well Star when you delete files on a PC, you are only deleting the address links to those files. Therefore the guts of the files do remain on disk, and can be resurrected with the appropriate software.

If after deleting the files you had cleaned up your hard disk with Norton Utilities, or similar, then the files would have been deleted and irretrievable.



N.B. If the the management is bent on French law, (guilty before proven innocent) then chances are they would like to see you find another place of work.



Look to new horizons and find employment elsewhere.
