I need alittle advice!

Okay I've never put any pictures up here before but I'm gonna try it.








I weight about 125lbs. I wanna get down at least 10-15lbs. I don't have the best diet basically I try not to drink pop I eat like steak, pork chops, chicken, and ribs with rice or potatoes or green beans for a dinner meal but through out the day I kinda just snack on anything oatmeal, sand which. school is starting and I've been stressing over it so I have been eating like crazy so I have gained some unwanted fat around areas that I don't want them in. I don't have the money or time because of school to go to the gym so if there is any exercise's I could possibly do at home please let me know. I wanna get a tattoo for my birthday but I wanna slim down before I get it so I have about a month before my birthday. I appreciate any advice you ladies wanna give me
 
Well why don't you start out by setting up an account with FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal and finding out how much you're REALLY consuming in an average day. Then post up your macros (which fit day will give you). I do hate the I can't go to the gym excuse... you're young, you're in college (I presume?).... when you land a full time job, pop out a couple of babies... then we'll talk but seriously if you're SERIOUS about losing weight you WILL find the time and money to go. If you're in high school gym is free, if you're in college I am pretty sure it's included in your tuition... and if it's not then it's an extra $50/sememster for the "athletic extra" or whatever they call it... besides a lot of gyms offer a college discount... about $90/semester - that's not bad. BTW You're eating a lot of high fat, high carb food from the sounds of it and unless the oatmeal is raw, it's not good for you. It takes a lot of courage to post up pictures and you're not bad hon, just need to find that drive to get yourself on the right track :)

I'll be going shopping for food very soon but I don't know what I should get to help with my diet, Like what food I should replace with what I have been eating, like if I should get diffeent type of chicken or just not eat chicken at all.
 
Chicken and lean fish should be the sole source of "meat protein" in your diet... beef and pork should be restricted to cheat meals. And with chicken and fish it should be fresh and raw, not processed. There is a thread by Thandie (I believe) on everything you should buy when you go grocery shopping, it's fairly recent, check it out! :)
 
I checked that thread out and I saved it and I'm definitely going to use it. Where could I go to get this type of food, just any food market. Also since I'm trying to slim down what type of exercises should I be doing? Lots of cardio?
 
Also, a strict keto diet can be pretty cheap as is power walking outside. ;) Supplements are great but use what you have. Start while the motivation is high. You need a diet with ZERO carbs. I submit that you need to drop about 25 lbs actually. Your bf% is pretty high which is normal and very fixable.

Hi and welcome!

Keep it simple. Have whole foods and NO processed foods. Chicken and fish as Melania suggested, in addition to eggs.

Carbs

Oatmeal
Brown rice
Sweet potato
Couscous
millet
Quinoa
Lots of fresh vegetables, leafy greens.

Check the GMO shopping guide sticky in order to get educated to buy healthy foods.

Drink lots of water and about 2 cups of green tea a day.

Okay so all around I need to lose at least 25lbs? And no i don't measure m food, should I start doing that?
 
Absolutely, at least until you get a good idea of what a serving is for every major food group that you'll be eating regularly. Our nation has distorted food portions so badly that it's absolutely a MUST to properly count calories and/or macros (depending on your route). They say when you eat your plate should NOT be bigger than 6".
