I Need a New Shirt

The damnest thing happened to me today. At my last meet, my shirt benched 440 for me...was so proud of it. It was a 15lb PR for it. Today in the gym, worked up without the help of my best friend for the first time in almost 2 years. It was scarey at first. Knowing that I would get no help lifting the weight. Most I have ever done this way before was 331. Today I worked up to 363 with pinkies on the rings, which I usually go index on the rings for 1RM. I was so confused. I knew that my shirt was getting stronger, but it appears that I am getting stronger at a proportional rate

In all seriousness I think I am going to be getting a new shirt. Another Double Denim with the back blown out. I like my Inzer, but everyone raves about Karin's. Benchmonster can attest to the fact that I have a RED Inzer floating around out there that I wish would find it's way home. It probably wouldn't take more than 6000lbs to touch.

How many of you use different shirts for your attempts? I know what my Green Inzer can do. I am thinking of getting a tighter one for my last attempts. Perhaps one that takes 475-500 to touch.

I am in the same boat, the fit is the key with shirts, I have gotten way stronger than when I did 600 and went to a push/pull meet to only get a 5lb pr. I know some get multiple shirts with the same measurements and some get several shirts with varying tightness, personally I would stay with the same shirt all the way and have one to train in. That way if your body weight changes you have a shirt that can work either way.

Can my shirt come up and train with yours? Apparently its been out drinking beer and partying while Ive been out training.

Hmm, always thought it was the other way around:beer:
