lol, Ive been to Walmart on day after once, not to gift shop but it was just to pick up some stuff. Never again, this was in Seattle and you just cant move in there so packed.

Id prefer to pay a bit more not to deal with the stress of holiday crowds and go some other day unless you enjoy that sort of thing. Me, Id rather not go NEAR a store tomorrow

ive gone once and it was terrible, theres no joy in browsing lol you either get it then or dont get it and then you still have a fear of losing it to someone stealing it out of ur buggy
 
I attempted that one year and never again. Stupid people fighting for toys and electronics.

I'm gonna be a the LSU game ;)

u need to move to usa....we have bad insurance but we have good walmarts....and thats what counts
 
and you usually need a helmet and elbow pads to even get thru that store....but they got some gameboy advanced thingys for like 40 bucks
is that a good deal? i got my kids one of the advanced regular things and he dont even know where its at....sigh

Everytime penny you spend at Walmart is funding the China Military which is expected to surpass ours in some areas by 2015, Walmart products are made by people in forced labor camps working seven 12hour shifts for 10cents/hr, Walmart is forcing huge numbers of their employees onto medicare which your paying for, driving local merchants that actually give a fuck and can answer questions out of business, and overall has drug down our entire economy by lowering wages and slashing benefits and destroying working conditions.

Walmart is the exact reason that you can't afford to shop anywhere else.

So I hope you feel good about yourself when your hauling your load of cheap inferior garbage to your car as you just supported all of the aforementioned.

walmart has gone in and drove small stores out of business and then left town. it happeneed to some degree where i live.
 
And if you'll look at Walmart's recent stock record.........you'll notice that even Walmart isn't doing so great in this economy they created. And that's pretty damn sad. I suppose that means we need to sink even farther.

but i have a question...these other stores that sell the same thing but higher than walmart...is the stuff they sell made in usa? or made by ppl over the age of 16?
or is all the blame just going to walmart because they are a successful chain?
and i remember mom and pops stores when i was a kid, they sold things so high even then you couldnt afford them...and they didnt have a wide variety of things
and there was no walmart then

listen, nobody forces these people to work for walmart. and if they dont like the wages they need to strike. it happens in many companies, but ultimately the consumer is going to pay for their increased wages if they win. the same shit walmart sells is also sold at target, electronic stores, department stores, and pretty much anywhere else goods are sold. and walmart isnt the cheapest people. the end cap items are cheap but thats just to draw you in. you see that microwave for $35 and think hmmmmmm i can afford $85 so let me see what they have for that price. so you walk down the isle of microwaves and pick the one you can afford. but you find out, or most people dont, that the same microwave was cheaper elsewhere. they market their shit like that. so dont thiink your getting a good deal at walmart. shop around.

but like i said, if the empoyees of walmart dont like the conditions of working there then they need to fight or quit. its not my problem if these people dont have the desire to aim higher than minimum wage.
 
I like Walmart and shop there.....but there's no way in HELL I'm going there tomorrow!

Around here we don't really have those small "mom & pop" stores anyway - so it's not like anything is being taken away from them here. You shop at the big box stores @ the mall (Macy's, JCPenney, Sears) or Walmart or Kmart. Those little stores closed a looooooong time ago before Walmart even came around here.
 
btw, no im not going to walmart or any stores tomorrow at all. i worked at toys r us for black friday a few years back and NEVER AGAIN. those people are so ungreatful its not funny. i was the guy that ran his ass off getting those big ass power wheels, bikes, play houses and then i bring out the big ass box and have to put it in your car just to find out you brought the smallest freegin car you own just to piss me off and i have to miracle fit it into the car. or tie it to your roof which we werent supposed to but i did anyway and the cheap bastards DONT FREEGIN TIP. i tell you, i will never shop on black friday ever.

I never had a problem with Wal-Mart until I moved to Indiana. The Wal-Mart's in my area are festering TTT's full of obese, low-class degenerates. Only now do I see where people are coming from in bashing the store chain... but in the higher-class areas I've lived in, the Wal-Marts were all very nice.

We don't even have a nice Pick 'n Save or grocery store chain in my area... the TTT "Super Wal-Mart" and "Super Shopko" stores are where people buy groceries. I hate it.

LOL. I've been to one once (and never again). It was outside the beltway in Frederick, MD. I was amazed. They had display cases for hunting rifles in the middle of the aisle. Hunting rifles!!

I was hoping to get a tour of a Super Wal-mart recently, but that didn't happen. That I have to see.

the day after thanksgiving is terrible for ppl that work in retail
Once, when scooters were very popular, a girl that worked in toys got punched in the stomach by a woman who wanted a scooter and she wasnt passing them out fast enough
also, when furbys were popular, in the store i worked in, they put the furbys all over the store, instead of in one spot(which is dumb) and they put one in pharmacy where a pregnant woman worked, and these ppl asked her if there was one in her dept and she said she didnt know....well right behind her, another customer found one....and the woman that asked her about the furby turned around to her husband and said "hit her for not telling us where the furby was" and he said"im not htting her, shes pregnant"
ppl get evil lol

The Chinese economy is going to shit in a handbasket starting right now and predicted to get much much worse b/c of overproduction. The government is a clusterfuck in business sense. Huge problems looming for China

samoth ive been that fucjking walmart uyou are talking about! right by applebbes off the highway... ya man had to get some shit and we didnt know anywhere else in Wa lafeyette so we stopped there... it was a roads trip and we saw all of indiana's finest in a single stop.... fuckingA
 
I went to Walmart for the first time last week. I was looking for ColdNose Puppy for my girl, but they did'nt have it. We got something else for her later on... PupPupPupppp Puppy surprise.

They are fighting.............but the million dollar lawyers Walmart hires are slightly smarter than Tina the cashier. I never said this should be a $20.00hr job, but Walmart could definetely do a lot better--Without raising prices in a lot of cases. That's the least they could do for putting another country on the map that could eventually wipe our asses out. Well actually we'd wipe each other out and that would be the end of it. All im trying to say is that something needs to be done, exactly what I have no idea. I am not a fan of this global crap...............if I wanted to be a slave I'd move to China or Mexico.

Since the majority can't understand this........my main thing right now is getting into making my $ grow and fuck everyone else cause someday soon your gonna see what all this boils down to. No health care, no social security, minimum wage white collar jobs..............you watch, mark my word.

No offense Klu, your just an avg. American and Walmart is a double edged sword. You want and need to save $ because the good paying jobs are or have vaporized so you are forced into their front doors literally and in turn a huge hideous monster is lurking in the shadows just drooling for one more dollar before it emerges with the ugliest face you will ever see.

It's not your fault, a few people have a plan and the power and $ to implement it.

look, really, China is in the shits and will be for a very long time to come. COMPLETE MISMANAGEMENT. They are so fucked in their thinking trying to blend a communist business model with free market that they are about to implode.

Thats the reason why we engage with China, to move them towards democracy and a free market system, thats WHY we do the things we do by opening up markets. They fucked up big time and now they overbuild, overproduce and we are their main market and we simply say. WEVE PUT IN PLACE ANTIDUMPING LAWS.
Fucks their economy, they go down the shitter, democracy becomes stronger, reforms becomes necessary.
Then its all good in the global neighborhood. The MORE we engage with China, the more they move towards Democracy, the less of a threat the hardliners become.
Its the same philosophy that killed the Evil Empire of USSR

well i have noticed a difference in walmart and target, walmart doesnt give discounts on food or medicines, sale items(they say they are already discounted) or clearance items, walmart being the biggest retailer in the world,they should do that actually, i mean your right, they pay their employees crap and when the raises come around every year, they suck too
At least target gives a discount on everything in the store
but on the other hand, when i worked at walmart, the school superintendants wife shopped there all the time.....and he made more money per year than most superintendants in the area PERIOD.
I think all sorts of people shop at walmart, rich, poor, average. Maybe they dont buy their clothes there, but they buy things there, like electronic things.
Why go to best buy and pay 100 dollars for something when you can just go to walmart and get it for 79.97?

I'm going shopping tomorrow. But, I'm going to stores no one really shops at. Sales with less crowds. I don't do department stores. Most of my gifts for others will be purchased online.
