I just saw saw....

Sub-Zero

High End Bro
Platinum
(dont move this to the movie forum, cause the discussion after is C&C material)

okay so i saw saw,

if you woke up in a saw style room, would you freak out because of the shit you had to do? that girl had it so easy, i wouldnt have cared at all about cutting through that live guys stomach as long as he couldnt hurt me.

lets discuss each type of saw room, and how you would feel/get out and what you would do.

Here are the rooms:

Room 1: barbed wire
-So in this room,he victim wake up in the room, and told by the same voice from the earlier tapes that if he wants to escape, he has to find a path through the barbed wire before the door to the room locks in 2 hours

Room 2: antidote in the safe
-a man who was incinerated after a candle caught fire to the flammable liquid he was covered in, while he was trying to find on the wall of the room he was in a safe combination (the safe containing the antidote to the poison in him).

Room 3: Reverse beartrap
_wake up in a room with a device fitted to her face. A TV next to her shows a creepy clown puppet tell her that the key to the device is in the stomach of the dead man in the cell with her, and if she doesn't unlock it within a minute, the device will explode and rip her face apart. - you also have a scalpul

Room 4A: Chained Room Lawrence
- Your chained in a bathroom, there is a dead man in the middle of the room and a puddle of poisoned blood. he has a gun in his hand, and a tape recorder in his other hand. there is also a live man (adam) across the room chained as well. What you know: you eventually find out X marks the spot, and you also realize the saw is to cut through your foot, not through the metal. you have the cigarette with a note, and it tells you to dip it in the poison and give it to adam. added fuckup for this guy- if you dont kill him by 6:00 your family will die
tape: "Lawrence throws Adam his tape, which tells Lawrence that he has until 6 PM to kill Adam, or his wife and daughter will die. Right at the end of it, he can hear the voice whispering 'Follow your heart.'"

Room 4B: Chained Room Adam
-your chained in the bathroom across from lawrence. You start out in the tub with the key, (assuming your not an idiot like adam and drop the key down the drain). you have two saws in the top of the toilet tank by you.
tape: " A distorted voice tells him he's part of a game, and he may end up dead unless he plays along."

_________
and briefly about the movie....the ending was brilliant! holy fuck! that was some clever ass fucking movie right there, but fucked up and freaky nonetheless... that sucks that he lost the key down the drain his job would have been so easy.

he sawed through his fucking foot holy shit!

that guy is an asshole going straight to hell for all taht torture...

ill go first

Room 1: barbed wire
- This i would be pretty scared, because of the time limit and you know thereis really no way out, the barbed wire seemed pretty thick. i would probably take it slow like he did at first, but then after the time started to leave and there is really nothing you can do id probably go crazy too, or still go slow and try and break the door down somehow once im out

Room 2: antidote in the safe
-this one was the most fucked up cause he had no idea how long he had to live, and there was glass on the floor and everything. at first once i stopped freaking out ( i dont think id flip out quite as much as him) id try and sweep the glass away, then id try and do what he did and find the combo without setting myself on fire. id pretty much just try all the random numbers in order up on the wall, there is really no fair way. this one was th eshittiest one of them all

Room 3: Reverse beartrap
-this one i probably would have been pretty cool about, its not a big deal to cut up that guys stomach for the key, although i dont think he told her how long of a time limit she had so that would have been scary. first i would have cut his throat to make sure he couldnt wake up and stop me. then i woulda gone to town on his stomach, i wouldnt have stabed it amillion times like she did, i would have cut it up like a surgeon, bitch

Room 4A: Chained Room Lawrence
- this one i wouldnt have been all gay. i would have point blank tried to poison him once i found out- cause he knew from his previous info, if you play the game everything is fine, so why not play the fucking game and save ur family. if u wanna play hero dont play it when ur familys asses are on the line. this one was the easiest one but pretty much tested your morals which could get tough

Room 4B: Chained Room Adam
-this is the shitties position...hes told he has to play along, but what the fuck? hed die anyway wouldnt he? he either has to get shot, or shoot the guy but if he kills him hes not playing along. i dont think i woulda let the keys fall down the drain (hopefully) in which case i woulda gotten out and taken the gun and shot the bastard once i figured out what i had to do. the thing is, i would have ended up fucking it all up cause the type of kid i am, as i was walking by the "dead guy" id kick him in the head or something stupid just for the hell of it. so i woulda gotten out and beaten that guys ass, or stolen his bullet or something

I never saw the movie... From what I have heard, it is another movie trying to aspire to "Seven". I have yet to see a movie come close to the brilliance of "Seven"... Just my opinion.

Maybe I need to see it though, sounds interesting...

what didnt you like about it?

and why u still black

The dialogue/acting was pure garbage, that alone was enough to dislike it. The script was written very poorly and made the story look rediculous in the end. By the time the twist ending came about, I was in the process of fast-forwarding it. The only redeeming quality was a "fairly" unique idea, which was utterly wasted by poor directing and screen-writing.

the only problems i really found was that the doctor was the shittiest actor of all time
