....a little bitch in the gym called bs on my max...

SO I do more reps with 315 than he does with his bodyweight(210 or so).

...loser wears an "I'm a Lil Bitch" sign all week in the gym....

...gonna take some pics...

bitches. tell em to stfu.

I remember when i was like 14/15 i told the gym trainer if he knew anything i could do for legs since i had outgrown the leg press there that only went up to 150 kilos and he just started laughing and i got real mad

I did inclines this morning. (225 - 315 - 355- 375 - 385...20 - 12 - 10 - 8 - 6.) I almost had to have a spot on the last set.

Shouldn't the sign read "Im _____'s lil Bitch".

Holy freak!

You guys are damn strong! 315 for 11-13 reps...dang! 385 incline...dang again!

Are you guys more powerlifters or bodybuilders...or powerlifter/bodybuilder?

Give me some motivation PLEASE and tell me that you guys were once skinny weaklings.

I'm not up in their league yet, but here's a little motivation. When I finally dedicated myself to lifting 15 months ago (coming off a severe foot injury), I was benching somewhere in the neighborhood of 135 lbs for reps of 5-8.

A couple of months ago I maxed out at 275, but think I'm above that now. Several weeks ago I was doing 240 for reps of 5.

*very proud of myself* :D

Little bitch went first.

215 - arching and bouncing for 5

I did 315 for an EASY 6 with pause.

His reaction - "YOu just beat me by one...I wanna re-do."

He got 215 for 4 about three minutes later

I got 315 for 8.

He asked why I "tanked" on the first set. I told him I saw no need in taking a chance on maxing out when an easy effort would win.

Totals - 215 for 9 for him.

315 for 14 for me

You even spotted him 100lbs...lol...this is just too funny.

I would like to take 1/2 of the guys I meet that say "yeah, I am about as strong as you" and have them come and train with me for a week...lol.

2 sets, max reps...that sounds like fun. I thought that you guys were gonna do a max set...but the reps sounds like A LOT of fun!!!

Congrats man

Funny - you don't LOOK that strong was another comment - lol

I saw the guy tank with 250 so......I spotted him a little weight to shut him up. He left the gym immediately.

I meet people all the time that ask..."how much ya bench?" I hate that after a while. The bench press is my worst powerlift by far.

I get that "you must bench press 600lbs" thing all the time. Nope...not even close...lol.

You should have challenged him to a set of high rep squats or deads after that...just to show him pain.

Wodin and Cornholio (and anyone else I may have forgotten) congrats on the awesome numbers bros. It has taken me an unreal amount of patience and perseverance to reach a 2 rep benchmax of 395. I think this is pretty much my limit as my joints are suffering big time as a result.

good job corn...that's the way to shut him up

and backdoc...395 for 2 is damn good, I guarantee it is more than most here

i wanna do 400 by time i grad from college. 2 more years. i am probably getting up to around 300 on flat now (i really don't know 'cause i've been working incline the past 6 weeks or so 'cause that's a weak point) for 1rm. do you think it's possible to get up to 400 in that time? i also plan on implementing a more powerlifting style of training sometime in the future (probably starting after i finish my first cycle). i am not sure exactly what yet since i haven't researched that yet. but i thought 400 was a nice goal.

DO a search on WBB training. It calls for a heavry and a light chest day...works very well....YOu can bump up 30-40 pounds in a couple months

I'd be VERY cautious using this, or any other strength program that can have such drastic results. I use rest-pause sets from time to time, but they have blown out my elbows from having such drastic increases in weight. 9mos ago I got 315 for 8 went up to 375 for 1, on the same day. Now I can hit 335 for 1 on a great day. Oh, yeah, I'm 20, so it's not such a good idea to have no tendons left so early on.

Good job Corn. Joint pain is hell, what I do is one week heavy and one week light to give my joints time to heal up and recover from being butchered.

Spent - it doesn't work the way you think.

The light day using 55% of max for sets of 3 is what builds the explosive strength. The normal heavy day works attachments etc, the speed day is what will really increase the weight you move

Awesome lifts. And ego stays in tact.
