I hate working legs.

I just can't get up the motivation to go to failure anymore on leg days. Failure on everything else is easy. Anyone else like this? Failure on legs is pure torture.

I don't go to failure too much anymore on legs (or most of the major muscle groups). I found out that I seem to make better strength gains if I don't annihilate them every time I go in. I still push myself, don't get me wrong. I used to go to failure all the time- for the first four or five years I was lifting- man did that suck.

We all respond differently. I can only work each bodypart once a week without overtraining and if I don't blast it into oblivion, I will lose strength and size. I don't do many sets but the few that I do are very intense. For years I worked out more like Arnold, doing the mulitiple sets long workouts each bodypart twice a week. When I switched to my current workout it worked better. I change it up every now and then with different exercises and such. I'm willing to try just about anything, nothing set in stone. Well, I take that back. High rep drop sets on legs, forget it. Can't take that pain anymore.

Does ephedrine help you? Just load up on that shit and a couple of Vivarin before you hit the gym. Ephedrine has the added bonus of making me feel extremely pissed off, unlike some other CNS stimulants, so it's perfect for the gym. :D

I wish that I could take that stuff. It makes my heart feel like it's beating out of my chest.
