Mods: Please keep this in the Anabolics forum because it has to do with anabolics and I'm sure the people in here can relate or give me advice. Thanks.

I was going to keep this off the boards, but I need some advice, and mostly just need to vent. I ordered some "stuff" from a trusted source last week. The tracking said it was delivered to my house on the 3rd of January. It was not. The tracking time said "Delivered at 2:14 pm". My postman doesn't deliver mail until after 4pm (and I specifically remember seeing him that day at 4:30). The next day I went down to the PO and told them the situation. They said they would have the postman check it out. When he came the next day, I approached him and asked him about the package. He said he did not remember any package and it would have been impossible for him to deliver it because his route doesnt start until 3:00 (the tracking said delivered at 2:14). I went back to the PO today, and they gave me the same shit "We'll look into it." Obviously the package is missing. None of my neighbors can have it, because, again: 2:14. My source has been cool throughout, he's replied to all my emails and has given me advice on what I should say at the PO. But now it seems the package is indefinitely lost. I don't have any room in my budget to make another order. My source said he's debating whether or not to refill my order and I felt like a dick asking him to do so ... AAAHHHHHHHHH! Help me out guys, what should I do? Cut my losses? Go into the Post Office and fuck shit up?! I'm so fucking pissed it's starting to get funny .....

I think it seems like a few things might have happened. Maybe the USPS internal net clock is off - it's a gov. entity so it's very possible, or the USPS man didn't deliver it but scanned as if he did, or it's a CD (controlled delivery attempt), or he left it at your door and someone took it (doens't have to be a neighbor maybe a drive-by or someone walking by).

I think your best bet is to stop trying to go pick up AS at the PO and have the source resend the products. Keep safe and be on the lookout , you never know what can happen.

Mr.X

The package would have been small enough to fit in my box I think. If not, it would have been put inside the "package box" with the key in my box, so I don't think a neighbor or any one else ran off with it.

That's a different story, in that situation I wouldn't go asking the PO for it for sure. :)

My personal suggestion, go open an MBE (UPS store mail box) and have things sent there instead of your house.

Mr.X

Thats a messed up situation neither yours or your sources fault, because it looks like the package was delivered but maybe to the wrong house? I don't know what else to think if it was lost it wouldn't have showed up as delivered would it? Unless your post man knows what you do and stole it which is some really fucked up shit.

I don't know man I feel bad for you!!!

You always scare the shit out of me when you post this stuff, X.

I don't think it's a controlled delivery because a)it probably would have been done by now and b)both my source and I are very careful, no sloppiness ... but you never know

i think this is what happened....somebody else might be knees deep in your gear.....i like Mr. X posted as well

but i would wait around a couple days...the shit might still come...u never know

I had a package float around in limbo over a holiday weekend like that too and was worried if I would ever see it again.

Most CD's will take place within 72 hours, so mabey you should wait it out, then go to the PO.

Best of luck man, don't sign sh*t, because you never ordered this package in the first place...

Ok
Here is a few things you can do (and trust me, I have had the same shit happen to me, and thank god I put up a big stink, cause my source sent it to 246 instead of 256)

1. Ask your source the addy he sent it too
2. Take the tracking number (if you have one, I am assuming so) and find out where they shipped it too!

Also, as a precation, when your talking to the P.O make sure you have a story all planned (just so you don't get thrown off on any of there questions or comments)

I hope it all works out!

Thanks man.

1. My source triple-checked the addy and it matches my address.
2. I took the tracking number to the post office and the only information they could give me was that it was delivered, which makes no sense because the time says 2:14 and my mailman's route doesn't start until 3:00 and he told me he never scans packages as delivered until he's actually at the destination.

Gotta love the USPS.

did you tell the post office that ur mailman doesnt start till 3.00 ? also, are you sure he sent it USPS and not fedex or ups (just asking)
also, why dont you pay a little extra and have your source insure the package, somehow when they're insured they dont get lost, and if they do, you get ur $$$ back to order more gear.. small price to pay.

Yeah I told them that, and they didn't have an answer for me. They're careful not to admit any wrong-doing b/c if they do, they'll feel they're putting themselves in a situation where they would be held responsible. The most I got out of them was, "We'll research into it and contact you if anything shows up", which basically means, "Fuck off, we fucked up and we don't know where it is."

You have appraised your source of the situation the whole time. Why not suggest that you forward half of the price for the replacement items. This way, you will only be out 50% instead of 100% and the source should also be content having a satisfied return customer. Just a suggestion.

Look around your neighborhood in the next couple of months. The big guy took your stuff! LOL

This is like my worst fear come to life. I swear I look at the addy I send to my guys 2000 times and still an hour after I send it will look in my sent folder to reverify. Its borderline ocd, but if it went to the wrong place...and it seems that this is the case here. Damn.

Booey, sorry to hear the bad news. I gotta ask though, are we talking gray or black market? I ask b/c you seem cool with going in and basically claiming the package, as if the biggest concern is just locating it. Thats why I ask. If its gear I'd put as much distance between me and the whole thing b/c worst case the man is at work and "best" case its lost or some ass stole it. In any case, you have illegal items with connections to you, possibly vague to possibly strong, potentially exposed to others. This isn't good. Gear can be replaced, it sucks but its not the end of the world. Don't get so focused on trying to come out of it even that you exposed yourself to serious problems. Your best bet is to do nothing and keep a spotless house bro. If something comes, I'd be very wary and not sign anything for anybody. Again, you gotta swallow that urge to come out on top and play it smart. That way the most you lose is some dough. Clean the house and see what happens, don't sign a thing and stay strong bro. Sometimes it just doesn't seem fair, we all been there.

When they do say they'll look into it, ask for the 'Case number', because if there isn't one, they are not looking into anything, and you need to talk to the higher-up's.

What if it magically is in my mailbox within the next few days. What would you do?

I'm seriously skeptical that it's been confiscated by the feds. The source has shipped to other bros throughout this period, we've been using secure email, I just don't see how they could be on to it. I hate to write this off as a loss. I was jazzed up about the cycle, and now it looks like I won't be running anything for a while. I'm too tight on $ to reorder. I'm hoping my guy cuts me a break and resends.

Thinking about it, yeah I may have been a little too carefree about things (going into the post office). I mean, I'm a patient man, I can wait a week or two for a package, but the damn tracking said 'delivered', that's what threw me off.

I think a CD takes at least 4-5 days to set-up minimal, so I think you MIGHT be in the clear if it was priority...if I were you, when you open your "package box" and see it's in there (let's say it is) just leave it there for a few days see what goes down.

you cant, it's kinda like a locker room key, once he opens the package box, he cant take the key back out...
but if it shows up, and you didnt have to sign for it, i wouldn't sweat it too bad. maybe leave it in your back yard unopened for like a week to be sure.

and yes bicepts, i did catch that too.... :chomp:
subtle, but still got it in there... hmmmm

OIC, in that case I wouldn't pick it up IMO if it took a few more days, BUT I'm pretty paranoid lol

Mr.X

I read somewhere the best thing to do in these situations is once you get the package, write with black marker "RESEND" on the box and leave it by your door. So when the feds show up, you can always say you didn't know what it was so you were sending it back. Would that work?

you mean "RETURN TO SENDER" and it might make you look good, but it wont save ur ass if it's a real bust. if it's a legit bust , it's because they already have some reason to suspect, or some evidence, so he's already fucked.
im not saying he's fucked though, dont get scared yet booey, just playing devil's advocate. relax, talk to your guy, but let that one go.

Never sign for it, never go pick it up at the PO, If it was sent correctly it would be in your mailbox. It's not the fault of your sup or you. This shit happens I know. To keep everyone safe you write it off. If your sup decides to cover at the very least half of the order, then that makes him stand up. If your relationship is good with him then help him out as well. We all know this biz and our sups are providing a service. A service that is invaluable to all that participate. Think about it. I'd rather take the loss than the extra risk as far as the legal issue, as well as I would rather take the loss of the order than the service these bro's provide. Just my .02.....

You can write "return to sender" until dark, but they can still pick you up if it's a legit CD.

i thought the majority of "sources" were doing away with tracking #. I remember not to long ago there was a bunch of drama on a lot of these boards about how source's and customers were getting busted, some were true some were not. most of the time it was mods who sided with a source cuz they got "hooked up" so they'd bad mouth other sources with random BS. When the whole bust scare was going on alot of sources changed email addies and had mods on boards erase posts and then they'd lay low for awhile. I had placed a order with a someone and a few days later i found out about all that crap so i was kinda worried about getting scamed and i was told i couldn't have a tracking# (i didn't want one anyways) . I got my order and the damn thing had a confirmation code... the UPS guy didn't make me sign for it. i think i'm going to take a part time job at a vet's office and get my supps that way. (my friends dad is a vet)

IMO when doing the whole mail order thing. never get a tracking #, or confirmation code, don't even bother having it insured! UPS/FED EX/USPS all treat their packages like shit and wouldn't be surprised to hear a story about how someone's package broke and they have to explain that they didn't order what they did.

UPDATE:

Some lady from a few streets down dropped the pack off this morning! LOL! She said she had been away for the week and only found it now. Damn, what a relief! Thanks for the advice anyway bros. Time to juice!

your regular mail man is the only one with a key to your buildings mail boxes....chances are...it was a 2nd day or priority mail package...thus your regular mail man would not have brought it...and was left outside your door...if no signature was required....and it would have been delivered earlier than your regular guys route time....hope this helps...i have allot of friends who are postal workers...i wouldnt sweat it...see if your source will split the loss with you..as it should have had sig required on it...

I bet she got into your var though dude, you best be checkin that she's not getting jacked looking.

Haha, nice ending.

Not to mention you got a solid source bro. He did everything right, but still was considering making things right for you when he really didn't have to. Nice to see it didn't come to resending or splitting, but atleast you know you got a solid bro on the other end when things go bad.

You mean you put us through all that anguish for nothing when granny had it all the time?

We were taking up a collection, hell what are we suppose to do with all this juice now?

Yea really. Man I get heated up over this shit. The PO can be real mothers. I have been through all this shit when I used to get packs. I have lived in the same place for 12 years and rec literally thousands of packages. Big on eBay and own computer business but int packs would get delivered to the wrong addy from time to time when none of my other packages would have any problems at all.

It would not surprise me if the stupid PO was delivering to the wrong person on purpose to see if they would open it and call the cops. They are curious what people are getting from oversees.

Buddy of mine had a prob here recently with the PO. He was doing me a favor. It was sent domestic from a good buddy of mine. Well the Delivery confirmation said it was delivered but the package never made it.

I told buddy to go to the PO and demand some answers. They have scan points, they know whose scanner it was, and how many scans where done that day ect... I told him to demand to know everything. Well the postmaster was a dick and would not do anything at first. Finally after he pressed on and called customer service etc....they found out the package scanned one min before his was 3 miles away. LMAO. So it was impossible to be at his house at that time and scan it. Proof someone fucked up.

The package happened to be something the mailman was interested in. $$ What do you do when this happens??? One of 2 things could have happened. It could have been misdelivered at a few houses at the last scan point or the mailman took it. I told him to go question everyone at those addys and he did. They where all old people. He also questioned the mailman and he could not remember scanning it even though he only had 12 DC# that day. Lol Any way you look at it its the mailman’s fault and this happens pretty often. Every see good fellows? Remember what they did to that mailman. That is what needs to happen.

The fu%$ing USPS is getting worse.

watch your postman , if he gets swole up I would kick his ass . . . or maybe not, depending on size your results may vary

My guess would of been that somebody else made off with it. Did anybody else know you were expecting anything? The only thing that doesn't make sense about that is the delivery time conflicting with your mail guy. I don't use USPS, but I assume with the way you're talking, that they usually just deliver your packages with your regular mail? Are you sure it doesn't come seperately? None of this adds up.

The posts on this thread seem out of wack. I could of swore I posted what I did before you said you got your package. Anyway, thank God you got it Booey, congrats!
