Hows my routine?

If isolation is mostly useless for size, just curious what you think its good for then, Suston?

I noticed you only gave the sets, but not the reps. Why is that?

isolation is useless for size in the beginning because the need for stimulating the most muscle fiber is paramount. I have never seen a guy who deads and squat with 400 and benches 300 to be skinny. the reason I don't name reps is because he is getting started so he will probably benefit more from a higher rep range than what I do. abou8-12 for legs and back and 6-10 on chest

i think your right because ive done quit a bit of isolation and almost never get results. so i syhould rework it for compound excercises like benching, squats and deadlifts. ill post my stats again in a few weeks.

The reason isolation doesn't work is two fold.
1) it doesn't overload the muscle with a lot of weight, so the release of hormones after the workout is minimal, so you lose out on that perspective.

2) the amount of lactic acid that is created is minmal to the amount of produce during compound excercises. And lactic acid buildup is a sign for the body to grow....
