How to stay motivated with a low-carb diet?

I started dieting on June 2nd. I lasted about 3 and a half weeks being very strict, and then my girlfriend broke me a couple times to go eat out and I pretty much fell completely off the wagon and I'm eating out to much again. How do I get back on and stay there until I've reached my goal? I feel like just skipping the redued carb bullshit and going straight to 20 or less carbs a day for three straight weeks and running 5 times a week. I just want to loose this ugly fat. Someone please get this carb monkey off my back.

easy...like Nike says..."Just do it".

There's nothing more you can do really besides just doing it. Develop a will of iron. Seriously.

Just grab your gut everytime you think of eating something u know you shouldnt! Or walk around with your shirt off till strangers make fun of your weight, youll feel so depressed youll stick to the diet so u can go back and kick those punks in the ass!

I hear ya I have cravings all the time, but i just say no. The other day me and my gf went to a bbq. I ate nothing but food i brought myself because everything they cooked had carbs. They were all eating chicken wings with honey and bbq, and burgers, and other foods with icetea, coke etc meanwhile im munchin back on a tin of tuna and a bottle of water. My social life might be boring right now but in 5 months ill be happy!!

You can do it!!!

What is your goal? Maybe you should break it down into weekly or bi-weekly goals; when you set short term goals, it's easier to stick to a program. Do you keep a diet log? If you have to write it down, you're less likely to eat it. Try to be strict about your log, and make sure you know the macronutrient breakdown and kcals of the foods you're eating.

If your fridge is an issue, put a picture of yourself on the fridge door next to a picture of the type of body you admire. Those comparisons are always helpful when it comes to sticking to a diet.

Remember its impossible to eat junk if you don't buy it!

Also I think that going on an extreme diet makes people more likely to fail since its so much harder, just aim to lose 2-3 pounds a week. Remeber extreme dieting makes you lose alot of muscle compared with the steady fat loss way (been there, seen it, done it, bought the T-shirt).

The best way to lose it is to do early morning cardio and wait 1 hour b4 eating breakfast (except eat a few grams of protein straight after) it makes your metabolism go like a crazy mofo.

don't start out with an extreme diet.....start to build up your diet step by step.also the craving is just a mind thing.......u just need to decide u choose the food what u crave or stick with the diet and will look great.I know it's not easy....I have room mates and they eat pizza on daily bases.....it smell so damn good but I look so much better then them.So set your priorities and u can still go and eat out once or twice a week with your gfriend....just go to a steakhouse or so....
Good luck!!
