How to eat on Cytomel?

SuperWoman

New member
Hey gals, well it's that time of year again, time to get ready to compete! I'm 13 weeks out from show and need to loose some major fat. After my AS cycle a few months back I got huge, bigger than I really care to be muscle wise (starting to look like a man!) and fat wise.

Here are my current stats: 150 lbs, 14%bf, 5ft 7in. My diet is super clean (typical precomp diet-oats, chkn, fish, yams) I eat 1540 cals, 150 protein, 160g carbs, fats are flax seed.
Workouts are 6 days a week with cardio only at 30 min right now.

Right now I'm taking t4 300mg/day and clen about 100mcg. Have been on that for about 2.5 weeks. No real significant results from that yet. (Dan Duchaine touts t4 and clen as a great fat loss stack--we'll see). I am not taking AS and will not be running any with my cytomel because I'd actually like to loose a few lbs of muscle to regain some of my femminity. Plus the show I'm doing is drug tested.

Well, the reason for this post is I've never taken cytomel before and I'm not sure how to eat on it. I don't plan on taking more than 50mcg/day (or running it for more than 5 wks) so muscle loss is not a major concern as it happens mainly on high doses.

I'm not sure what the best diet would be for maximum fat loss. I thought low carb would be good but maybe too dangerous. This is because on low carbs your blood glucose levels drop, cytomel also causes hypoglycaemia, plus with the extra cardio I'll be doing I'm afraid my sugar levels will get too low- dangerously so.
On the filp side, if my body is burning fats for fuel and I'm ketosis that could be some major fat loss. But low carbs also make your muscles flat, so does cytomel, I don't want to psychologically freak out and do something stupid (like stop cyto abruptly).

Or, should I do a moderately low carb like 50-80g/day? I'm also concerned that when I come off cytomel I'm going to be hypothyroid for about 2 weeks. Carbs boost your thyroid production (which is what I'll want) but at the same time with hypothyroid I'll be prone to gaining major fat back if I'm not super careful. So, if I did an atkins type diet while on cytomel, then go off and start eating carbs (even really low amts) I don't want my body storing them as fat because it's not used to having any plus I'm now hypothyroidic.

AHHHH!! See the pickle I'm in? I need some ideas from those of you who have used cytomel. What did you eat while on and then when you went off? It would also be motivational to hear some personal experiences while on it, results, etc.

PLEASE: I am aware of the dangers I'm taking by doing cyto, so no preaching.

Thanks everyone! Many kisses for your input!
