How much water do you guys take pre/post workout?

He said people may lose a couple of pints of water while working out at the gym or an exercise class, but they can replace that straight away once they had finished.

Just an example of water loss, and I would say you lost even less in a weights workout
 
But isn't the water actually used because of all the nutrients bodybuilders take in?

Muscle are composed of water aren't they?
