How much do you pay to get your hair cut?

Well i just paid $35:mad: .

wtf is that about. I should asked before i sat down......but who would have thought i'd have to pay $35 to get my dial styled.

I should have dropped my pants there and then. When the chick says, "what the hell are you doing", i should have said "well i've obviously paid for the full service, so wrap your lips around this".

She should have paid me for the pleasure of working on such a beautiful dial.
 
I pay ten bucks at the Mexican barbershop. I'd shave it myself, but I always wind up doing a crappy job.
 
$22 bucks. I drive 30 min. to go get my hair cut because my hairdresser does an excellent job. I've gone to her on and off for 4 years.

I had this other girl cut my hair really close to my house and we were going out alot together but she couldn't cut hair worth a damn so I had to stop going there.
 
i was paying $8.00 then they jacked it up to $9.00. then i moved and have to pay $12.00 so I only get it cut every other week now lol. most i payed was $22.95 then the chick got mad because I didn't tip her. I was so pissed.

Question: What is an appropriate tip for one's barber? I usually just pay double at Christmas...:confused:

Oh, and I pay $10. Been going to the same barber for 7 years.
 
It ends up costing me over $50 for just a cut . Includes tip, hair products, etc.

I've had the same hairdresser for over 15 year's. He knows my hair very well and can cut it like NO other!

Matter of fact, a good hairdresser or barber is JUST like the perfect lover.....No need to explain what ya like to make you happy..PRICELESS!

Hmmm, here is Jersey I pay about $13, but I just give you a $20 and she keeps the rest as a tip.


I waas out in Cali and went to this full service salon. They have you change out of your shirt and put a smock on, then after they cut your hair, you go into a nice bathroom and wash off and get all the hair off you, then change back into your clothes.................shit cost $35 bucks, I was like, never again, take me the the Lemon Tree.

Hmmm. I go about 4 months between haircuts. I think i pay $11.95. I get my hair cut at wal-mart.
 
I was paying $75 w/tip until she lost her mind and gave me a haircut that left me suicidal for 2 weeks. :redhot:

I found another lady who I like just as much, and she only charges 28 bucks. :) Hurray for me!:fro:
 
most of the time i get my hair cut for free from my sis, but she doesn't really know how to cut guy's hair... she is good at women's. So sometimes i go to my barber for $8 with a $2 tip. So i throw them a 10. DO you have to tip a barber who owns the place???
 
I go to some swanky joint that my buddys ex works at Carston Salon in Tempe. Guys haircuts usually cost between 35-50 depending on the girl but she charges me here chair minimum of 20$ then I give her the other 15$ as tip. so 35$ alltogather but its worth it. She does a better job than barbers around here and I get a scalp massage when I get there!

No Vixi, but I do use Listerine, a plaque remover and a rotary tothbrush twice a day! I will look into the tongue scraper.

Unless you include the cost of the Mach III razors, which are about $13 for an 8 pack. I run through those every couple of months or so.
