How many calories when bulking?

I would like to add some quality tissue with the minimal amount of chubb sensibly possible, can anyone give me a guideline or a formula to work out how many calories I need and what ratio Protein/Carbs/Fat?

most people usually like to go with bodyweight x 18 to start and then follow your results from there and adjust up or down depending on how you personally respond ..everyone is different... also as far as ratios go i notice most bodybuilders take like 35% protein, 50% carbs, and 15% fat......you can try that or most people on the board rather something like 40/40/20 or 40/30/30

i take what i need for my metabolism which is 3000 then i take my activities during the day 3000 then another 1000 for extra and i eat 7000 a day!! its worked great for me minimal fat with great gains!!

if i did that i would need close to 13000 calories..... HA... THAT WOULD BE A FEAT.... i dont know if i could afford it let alone stomach it...

ye im lucky if i did anyhting else during the day id have to throw down a whole pie to keep weight but iv went to 150 with 7% bf now!! i need to change my stats!! try that find out your metabolism then take your activitie and put 500-1000 more cals than that take it up by 500 a day and if you start gaining to much fat eitha take it down or do alil more
