how long did yopu guys train before sauce

I lifted 6 years... I finally gave in after I got sick and lost 12lbs from a flu... 12lbs that took me almost a year to put on naturally.... with my first cycle, I put on 15. .. from then on, I never looked back. :)

Trained for about 1 month a year since i was about 13 yrs old but i never stuck with it. When i was 27 i started and stuck with it and am now almost 30 (next month) but i waited 1 1/2 years after starting seriously. I only plan to do 2 cycles a year and so far have only done 2.

You can rest assured that the guys who trained for a couple months before juicing won't be replying to this thread. :mix:

There was some guy who I think posted on the diet board, that had never worked out before in his life, took andro for one week while starting to work out, then hit the juice.

10 years, glad I waited cuz now these guys that I see that did a bunch of cycles to get where I was naturally are now stuck and I'm blowing up

Trained until I was 24 before actually doing a real cycle. Tried some fake stuff at age 21.
I was able to deadlift 620lbs for a single before I did a cycle. I was happy I waited and knew how to train before I did anything.

So what's wrong with jucing after a couple of months of training?
I mean... what's wrong with that? me don't get it...

19.5 years..probably should have waited for the round figure of 20

OK, I'm the moron... I trained for about 5-6 months before my first cycle. That's after about 26 years of never doing a thing. The problem with that is that muscles strengthen much more rapidly than tendons/ligaments do (especially on juice), so I started injuring one thing after another. It got to the point that the guys in my gym started using my name interchangably with injury ("hey, I pulled a saltlick"). That was about 6 years ago, and I've learned alot since then, so hopefully I'm done being stupid. Definitely make sure you have a solid, strong base and form down before you start, or you'll pull a saltlick too. Hope my stupidity helps someone.

Like most things in life, age and experience are general guidelines and not hard-and-fast rules. If you are serious and educated about the sport (and old enough to safely be using gear) then make your own decisions.

I don't doubt that your maximum size will be limited if you start early. Then again, not all of us are going for competitive size.

Well i trained hard for about 2 years. I dont like to do but a cycle a year, a mild cycle if that like winny/ox

over ten years.

5 months. anavar only cycle right now. I hear alot of people on these boards saying, "wait until you've reached your genetic potential before you start juice" Then I go over to the 'pictures of our members' board and laugh my ass off. I've come to the conclusion that 90% of the people on the boards don't wait. Most of the physiques in the pictures board can be obtained with 6 months of good diet, training, and rest. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying some of you didn't wait and I'm sure you had great physiques naturally, and you realize posting your picture on the internet isn't always the safest thing to do. It's just that alot of people are full of shit on this board.

I commend those that do wait, but I don't scorn the ones that don't. It's your choice, but at least don't lie about it. I'll admit that I could have made MUCH more progress naturally, I just want it to go a little quicker.

28 Yrs.......and tried every damn supplement that was ever made too!!!! RADAR

15 years, and if I had only known, it would have been after about 6-8. That was 11 years ago ago and yes I don't need anyone to tell me I'm fuckin' old.

A little quicker? You trained for 5 lousy months. Wow. You can really perservere thru alot. Those 5 months must have been agonizing with learning how to bench press and do e-z bar curls.

sorry i meant 5 months of actual hard training with a great diet. I thought that was what the post had implied. I've lifted off and on for 3 years, but like i said, the past 5 months consistently and hard. They were agonizing though, not so much learning how to bench press, but learning how to properly stack the weights and put the clips on.

about 25 years

I started juicing at 42,after having competed successfully natural and doing the family thing, finally got tired of looking the same
