how important is cardio when bulking?

Hey bros,
I'm not a cardio guy, I have in mind starting a strict diet and training to gain a lot of mass, I got all my supps on deck and my diet design from a nutritionist. My question is if for a bulking cycle cardio is important, I don't have too much body fat on me, like 12% so I guess I can skip on cardio? Thanks for your help.

this is a great question and my view is going to be different than most meatheads because I am simply older and more experienced than the younger guys

i believe that if you have an office job that you should be doing SOMETHING everyday active. an hour of exercise is crucial for mantaining heart health

if you dig ditches all day or work construction than it won't be as necessary.

the difference in calories burned for an accountant on his ass all day vs. a labor job is 1200 calories in a normal sized man.

considering it seems like most jobs these days are sitting your on your ass then getting cardio is going to be importnat to burn those extra cals

and yes even someone who is bulking should mantain a strong heart. granted i'm not saying go out there and run an hour everyday. you still should be active daily

You definitely want to be doing some form of cardio just for overall hearth health. If you hate traditional cardio just try doing some HIT weight lifting. Basically just very low rest time between sets and keep that heart rate elevated.

Cardio is very important for heart health and blood pressure control. If you are trying to gain mass, obviously a lot of cardio isn't a great idea but SOME cardio is very important. Aside from it's health benefits, it will also improve endurance and keep your conditioning on point when bulking.

I recommend 2-3 cardio sessions where you really get your heart rate up for 20 minutes when bulking. 20 minutes of HIIT on the step mill or spin bike would be a good option.

If I have the time, I always do cardio after workouts when I bulk up.

It flushes out toxins, boosts metabolism and also leads to leaner gains. So its only beneficial to you.

It is extremely important, since the weight training does not really train your heart, but when you gain weight it does actually stress the heart more, since it has to work harder. Therefore, it is very very important to do regular cardio exercises in order to make sure that your heart is strong and healthy, and keeps up with the weight gains you are getting.
