i know you need a script for it, but are pharmacies really asking the people for scripts..

i mean what if a diabetic is in urgent need of some humulin-r and doesnt have a script on him...

when a country is locking up weed users, think what its like for shit like that.

yeah ok dude..
but your posts are vague and totally not helpin me out here.

Not hard at all. You can even buy humulin-r over the counter in most states I believe. The others you can order without much trouble.

sorry. what im saying is if someone is in a diabetic seizure i would think they's give him a shot on site, thats it. but other than that you can forget about it. its either a script or nothing, unless of course you know someone, but thats probably nearly impossible.
I smell baken, pork, pig, the other wite meat.....................................................................

we talkin bout yo mama? be careful what you say fuck face.

Satch,I dont know where you are from but most states you do NOT need a script, you will get more of a hassle for the needles than the humilin

you should watch it, this is a serious post. fuck off if you have nothing to say useful. in arizona satch it seems like people have no problem getting it, same as syringes, when i am in chicago no pinz without a script and i don't hear of people using it as much.

yep, most sites won't even send em to chicago addresses. only one and i am not gonna expose them

just checked walgreens by my house and a walk-in is no problem to purchase. I asked about other states saying i had to travel for work and they said they can't give out info but i could contact their corporate office. Not sure if that helps but maybe a quick call wouldn't hurt

Humalog is only available via Rx in all states.

Humulin-R is OTC in most states.

Just bought a vial of Humulin today as a matter of fact.

depends on the state

Just don't walk in with your sleeves rolled up and a shirt that says 'Do I look like I need steroids?' and most pharmacists will give you what you need no questions asked.

Humalog is the only slin I know of that you need a rx (that's in some states, not all). Everything else is otc. It has to be. What if someone was about to go into a diabetic coma? That is why it's otc. With signature at most places.

its a fed law that they have to make slin availvable without a script (at pharmacist discrection of course)

only 1 type requires a script.....the shortest acting kind..which was mentioned above..

why a fed law??---most people dont walk around with a script when traveling

Bruce I thought you were a solid bro,Who do you think you are to tell someone to fuck off,Were do you get off to talk to people like that,I gave a response you may not have liked it but you dont go around talking to people like that, and as far as Satch goes, you guys can go around and kiss his ass but he backed doored me and I dont have nothing to say good about him,so hey next time you have something to say to me take it private, mabye than you will get the facts, and let me ask you what was wrong with my answer,I was stateing that where I am from GA it does not require a script for insulin but does for needles,so mabye before you went off shooting your mouth and trying to act like a big man and score ass points for satch you should have read the post again, that kind of talk will get you bitch slapped if you did it in my presence,no need for a responce, you said what you did and I gave you a responce, dont act like a kid and act so tough and put your nose where it does not belong, you owe me a appology, and to all the other solid bro I appologise for taking up the unnecessary space,Much Respect

let me just explain something to you, i was being a hard ass with you, plain and simple, i said watch it, nothing about your mom, i mean come on, i dont' kiss anyones ass, i know satch only a little and yes i do respect him he is happy to help a bro out with advice and i appreciate that. so chill out homey, i meant nothing against you, we are on a gear forum, sorry if i get a little edgy, sincerely.

im sure bruce bruce meant no harm...anyway...interesting...thread...im in cali and i have never tried to just walk into a walgreens and obtain slin...without a script..how much would they give you?

Go in with some baggy cloths. I've never tried to buy more than one bottle. I don't think it would be a problem, but the stuff lasts a long time....

Just walk in with a hurry and a bad english and i'm pretty sure they won't refuse you the slin, if they ask you for a prescription just tell them you're from belgium or something and ask if there's a problem, incase they still refuse you tell them to fuck off and try a new pharmacy. If they ask you what slin you want tell them you want novo-rapid (the one used in europe)

I'm in Texas.. Some pharmacies have allowed me to purchase syringes, while some have flat out refused. They have said a prescription is not required, but that they do not have to sell them to you.

ask them if it's because you're white :D,

i dunno about the US but in sweden you can get sued pretty badly if you refuse people to buy stuff even tough they are legally entitled to

lol, in the U.S. it depends if the pharmacist is a right wing christian, I think there trying to pass a law so they dont have to dispense birth control pills too if it goes againts thier high and mighty faith.

No Satch there was a law passed by president bush saying just that, therefore Humilin-R is available OTC, I buy it at CVS, but you have to pay the whole $30 per vial if you dont have a script....scripts allow you to have insurance pay for it, that's all.

Yep it's $30 here in Ca...Humulin that is.

Just walk-in and ask them for a vial of Humulin-R. If the pharmacist denies you, which he/she shouldn't, just go to another one. No need to be scared, as it is legal and you cannot get in trouble. I think people are more afraid of the rejection than actual legal problems.

If they say anything, just tell them "You don't need a Rx for Humulin-R do you? I've bought it a lot of times without problems, even for my G-ma when she needs it."

Usually the Pharm Tech is clueless as well. So sometimes they just have to be informed.

It really is easy bro's....

Again, Humalog needs a Rx.

first off,
who the fuck are you and HOW exactly did i 'backdoor' you?

oh let me guess..
you emailed me asking 'what is winny'..
so i never replied and so you're takin it personally.

or wait..
you must have been the one that asked me if creatine stacks well with celltech.. oh my god yes it was you..

In New Hampshire you walk in and ask for it. The price has gone up about 50% in the last two years.

Aye -- Insulin is easy to get in the US. Just speak confidently to the pharmacist and wear baggy clothes. If you are in a tank shirt and looked jacked as shit he'll probably be more skeptical.

As far as pinz go, I had incredible success at a Tennessee Walgreens. I asked for 10 3cc 18 g 1.5" syringes (with needles) and for 10 21g 1.5" needles. When the pharmacist asked me what I needed them for, I said "I'm on physician supervised HRT and didn't pack the right needles." -- then I just stood there. He paused for a second, grabbed two boxes, and counted them right out and sold them to me on the spot. That makes me think that needles (at least in Tennessee) can be sold at the pharmacist's discretion.

Oh... and one more afterthought about needles... what recreational drugs can even be administered with at 1.5" needle? I'd think pointing that out to a pharmacist might win you some points too.
