How Do You View Friends Wealthier and Less Wealthier Than Yourself?

Life is weird. I have always been happy for friends that do good in life financially. But it seems like a few of mine make comments all the time. Like, "if I had your money" or "I can't afford to do that like you can" or "it must be nice to be you" and on and on. I mean I even have this one friend that says it must be nice to have your looks? Wth(what the heck) because he sees chicks hit on me and stuff. I mean I don't mind chicks hitting on me but heck I am married I can't do nothing anyway.

I am just wondering how you view other people fortune and how they view yours? I mean it really makes sense no the term rat race.
