Ugh, the week isn't even over yet and I'm craving all kinds of things: coffee with creamer, chocolate, etc......

Extra water isn't helping......

willpower and meditation ;)

... and caffeine + 5-HTP

protein shake every 2 hrs plus lots of water just for the record if you were strand on an island and alll you had to eat was chocolate bars you would die faster if you ate the chocolate bars as opposed to no food

Nibble on a chocolate protien bar, the Lean Body bars are way yummy!!! Have a coffee with light soymilk instead of creamer. And use a sweetner called stevia and add a little cinnamon. So YUMMY!!!
Make a chocolate protein shake. Get sugar free nips (ya know, the candies that taste like coffee).
The way I fight cravings is just to not buy any sweets or junk food. I'm always too busy to run to the store just to get something cause I am craving it.

I hear ya kid, I've been "clean" for over a year now, as they only way I could handle simple carbs is not to get started at all. As mentioned above, protein every few hours is a good way to keep insulin levels steady, also complex carbs are good for that too. Big, and I mean really huge, salads with meals are a great way to help feel full and satiated during the day, and remember, a salad doesn't have to be boring either, you can add lots of stuff to make it more enjoyable!!!! There are now a lot of good sugar free treats that you can buy and "save for an emergency" when you just can't get the sugar monkey off your back. I have 3 or 4 bags of sugar free stuff in the kitchen that I bought when I started dieting, and while I haven't opened them yet (I'm going on week 16 of the diet) it's comforting to know that they are there if I get in a pinch. If you do stock up on some sugar free treats, just remember to only use them in an "emergency" they have calories too, and if you eat too much of those you'll be back to where you started, hope this helps, O.M.G. :)
