How do you guys get a good (understanding ) doctor ?

Just curious because I know it is intelligent to have bloodwork done before, during and after cycle but how do you know what Dr is going to be cool with it. In todays environment, it can be a bit scary to admit anything to anyone and I sure dont want anything in my personal health records. How do you guys handle that and is there a list of sports doctors that I could find that may be sensitive to my needs ? Thanks in advance.

The same way you fund a good doctor for anything else; by shopping around. Keep looking until you find one you can both trust and is knowlegable about your medical needs. Doctors that speacialize in sports medicine are a good place to start and if your in a fairly large metro area, you won't be the first, or last, patient with aas toxicity concerns. Also, don't worry about gettin narced because your protected by both doctor patient confidentiality laws and HIPPA. A good doctor is concerned first and foremost about the patients health. Good luck.

a good doctor is concerned moast about their patient, but HIPPA does not cover illeagle substances. it is scary finding an understanding doctor but they are out there and you just have to look.

google hormone replacement therapy and the state you reside in. Some HRT clinics will do webcam consultations after you recieve a physical from a general practicioner and have an independent lab to do a blood screen after they're results are faxed to the clinic. After that, they mail you the gear-and it's all legal/legit. Well, sorta. Ya never know when big brother might decide to prosecute anyone they want using The Patriot Act. Once you are charged, it's up to you to retain an attorney and fight it-which will be about a $5K retainer for starts. So with that being said, don't be too cavalier about what you do.

Cops lie and fabricate charges all of the time. Even if they know they don't have a solid case they'll hope you're stupid an not show up for court or be too broke to afford a good criminal attorney. This way you'll get some lame public defender that likely played 18 holes of golf last weekend with the prosecutor in your case. Both are on the same payroll, so neither is going to comprimise too much-leaving you pretty much fucked all the way around.

People misunderstand what HIPPA is. Before anyone posts bullshit posts about HIPPA you should read up on it.

I had a guy come in to our ER and he was a fucking dumbass. he was having what we call pseudo seizures(google it if you dont know what it is) so he gets pissed cause he is not getting his ativan and narcs that he says help come out of them. one night he got violent so we had to drop some bows on his ass and he was escorted off. he kept throwing HIPPA up in our face saying we cant do this to him.

HIPPA in a nutshell is we can not tell people about your treatment and or condition w/o thier consent. You may say this applies to A.SS. No it does not. if he charts that shit and lets say the feds or anyone in LE wants them they can get them. if he feels you are hurting yourself or are a risk to yourself and others he can call LE. HIPPA does not protect anyone. it was put into place because of hollywood and stars wanting thier privacy.

I 2nd that explanation. HIPPA does not protect you if the Doc thinks you are a risk to yourself or others. If he/she does, they can legally drop a dime.

I heard that if you tell your psychiatrist that you are about to commit a crime that could risk the well being of yourself or someone else they are required to drop dime regardless of Dr/patient confidentiality.

Can taking steroids really be a risk to you or someone else's well being??? I say not really-unless you wanna consider the legal risks and punishment involved for getting caught in possession? However, the general public will definitely think you're a risk to yourself from a physical health perspective at the very least.

a doctor will chart your use and your insurance company will see his notes. this will make any further health insurance nearly impossible to attain due to self medication.

if you want a good doc find a general practioner in your insurance plan who specializes in a field, mine is a nephrologist who is a gp and specializes in hrt. you can do a search of all usa hrt docs and find one in your area. these are the docs to see as a gp and allow time to pass as you introduce your lifestyle to them. my doc realized immediately how i live and openly began discussing future hrt programs i can use including hgh with test and other aas. this will ensure a prescription and have no impact on further insurance coverage. do not tell them about past use, you do not want it charted.

I don't know what the deal is with a murder charge as that's a whole other ball game but I think people are overconfident about he Dr./Patient confidentiality issue. I'm not 100% certain and maybe an attorney can chime in, but I believe that a doctor can be court ordered to provide information or testimony concerning illegal activities you may have told him about. Not to say that a judge would automatically do so, but the option may be there.

Someone with knowledge of the legal system, please correct me if I'm wrong on this.

Well, let's put it this way. The feds raided all of the local hrt clinics here about 2 months ago. They took the Dr. client lists and all of their treatment records. Next thing ya know every cop and firefighter's name on that list is now under investigation for AS use-even if they went about it legally and had a legit condition for treatment. Nobody is 100% safe, ever.

thanks for the replies guys. It does seem to be more difficult simply because of the complex nature of things these days. We need to see the dr to check levels and it seems to me that there are probably a lot of good bros out there that arent seeing the doctor simply for this reason. It is kinda like the guy that gets shot in the foot by accident and goes to the hospital. By law, the police must be called and there has to be a report filed on it. Everything is getting more and more difficult.

So , should I google hrt docs in my area or what ?

Yes. If you live out West I think you'll be more successful in finding one close to you though. Back East HRT isn't as popular for the same reason Breast Augumentation isn't as popular. When you have the option to wear a sweater 8-9 months a year, a lot less people give a shit about how they look. I live in Phoenix and I can spot a midwesterner here on vacation no prob. The way they look, walk, talk, dress, and carry themselves makes them stick out like a sore thumb in the land of beautiful peeps that is Pho-town.

I personally had a bad experience with a psychiatrist after telling him about my steroid and recreational drug use, the result was that I was totally screwed trying to get the medication that I actually needed because he wrote drug abuse in his write up. As far as I am concerned I am paying for a blood test and the results I don't need to give them a reason why.

Really I am a bit surprised that this thread is dying so quickly. I think everyone here would agree that bloodwork, BEFRORE, DURING and AFTER is the most important thing that we can do to ensure a safe cycle with limited negative impact on our bodies.

I can only deduct two reasons for the few responses. One, most bros dont go to the doctor or two the docs are getting harder to find and noone really knows the best way to contact a doc in todays "hot " world. Some help would be nice. I know there has to be a way to find an understanding doc without leaving my nuts out in the wind to be crushed. Thanks
