I use steelcut oats so i soakthem overnight in a little splenda, cinnamon, a touch of salt and some ground cardamom.
In the rmoning I whack em in the microwave for 15 minutes while i have a shower and it's ready and tastes devine
fill bowl 75% with instant oats,
few teaspoons of cinnamon
2 tablespoons of vanilla soy protein isolate
2 tablespoons of wheat germ
.....
then I run the hot water from the tap till steam starts coming off it and put some in the bowl... then mix and eat
Isn's 15 min in the microwave a bit too long? I usually cook mine for 3 minutes on high and its ready! I just throw it in a bowl, add some equal and microwave. Sometimes i'll mix in raisins and chocolate protein powder. Tastes delicious!
Take a half cup of oatmeal
add a packet of splenda, a few shakes of cinnamon
top with skim milk
microwave for 2 - 2/12 minutes
burn my tounge when I refuse to wait for the oatmeal to cool for a minute
