How do you avoid....

Ingrown hairs....
I have to admit... I'm a shaver.... everything is shaved other than my legs and arm pits...
Anyways.. 95% of the time everything is cool...
But every couple of weeks.. maybe once a month.. I will get like 2 or three gigantic ingrown hairs on my chest, one on my forearm this week... They look and feel like friggen welts... YOu can't pop them either because they are seriously deep rooted bastards with no place for them to pop...
Is there any sort of cream or something you can put on your chest, arms, umm... crotch area to prevent getting these bastards? Waxing just seems to painfull...
I'm contemplating giving nair a shot.. or nayr.. how ever its spelt.

I tried waxing my chest instead of shaving and got mad ingron hairs all over it, never try that one again

What is exfoliating and how do you do it...
I got at least 3 more ingrowns over the weekend... 1 big ass one on my forearm... bleh... looked like a friggen tumor!

Have you considered just clippering your hair? Body hair itself isn't necessarily unattractive - just a lot of body hair is. Often a completely smooth waxed/shaved look doesn't look appealing either.

i have tried the clipper route, but nair works for me. waxing is a big pain in the ass.
