hey all thought i would give ya my granola recipie. i eat this every morning with 6 eggs, 4 whites 2 whole eggs. awesome cereal, low sugar, has peotein from nuts and seeds and has some great sources of carbs
6c oats
3 1/2c 7grain
1/3 c wheat germ
1/4c nutritional yeast
1/2c sunflour seeds
1c raw almonds chopped or whole, (i prefere chopped)
pour all into a large aluminum turkey pan
mix 1/4c oil (i use extra virgin) 1/3c watter 1/2c splenda 1/3c honey and microwave for about a min to warm up the mixture and make they honey wattery and splenda mixed in well. pour over the top of everything in the turkey pan and mix it up well so its all nice and covered and moist. bake 2 hours in the oven at 250deg. stir every 20mins or so. turn off after 2 hours and leave in over to cool. should be nice and crispy. very healthy, complete proteins, great carbs, low sugar and very enjoyable for breakfast with nonfat milk. gives me lots of evergy for the day, i dare you to try it. you can basicly change this recipie any way you lie, use any seeds or nuts instead of what i have listed, you can even change the grains if you like, just make them somthing similar with a similar consistency. good luck and lets hear what yall think!
