You should always try to get your protein and such from real food.
You shouldn't rely on protein powders. A great addition, but it's just that, an addition.
 
Protein is not something you generally need to strive for when bulking --- you only really need something like 1.6-1.8g per Kg of bodyweight.

really???? then what do we have to strive for?
 
I personally can't handle 6 "food" meals a day nor can I sit down to 6 meals a day so rely strongly on MRPs for 2-3 of my meals. And contrary to what the guy said earlier but protein is pretty damn important in association with bulking! That's what muscle is built with!
