"I think pain in the knees can be avoided. It depends on your form and the type of shoe that you wear."

I saw this in one of your posts and was wondering what features you like to see in a squatting shoe?
Regards.

i'm not louden, but..Chuck Taylors are perfect. you need something flat and good support

For squatting, I like a hard sole and a shoe with adequate ankle support. This includes a basketball shoe or a crosstrainer. I am the Nike type of guy.

For heavy deads, I like to use asics wrestling shoes. Good flat sole and adequate ankle support.

B Fold uses converse, which is a good shoe.

Otomix is another good shoe.
