Now there's a band that a few aquaintances reccommended to me, and I downloaded about 7 songs from them, and I must say that in MY opinion, it sounded like dirty pickled doggy dick transformed into sound waves. I was expecting some good NIN type of industrial goth metal or something, but nooooooo, instead I get 80's sounding fast driving riffs and it sounds like frankenstine and a rat with it's tail stuck in a meatgrinder are singing.

I saw Hammerfall live last month in gothenburg and I have to say it was one of the best shows ever. Lots of fireworks, headbanging, one live giant knight(prob 6"6) with a BIG sledgehammer, a fake castle in the middle of the stage. Everything to get a flashback to the 80´s

Megadeth, Pantera, Slayer, Dio and Danzig are some of my favorite bands. But I was surfing around the net and found a site called www.burnthesun.com They give reviews on all kinds of metal bands from A - Z. I was trying to broaden my horizon and find some more metal bands becuause I knew that there was so much more out there that I didn't konw about.

Metal is probobly one of the best types of music out there. IMO. I just sucks that I was not able to grow up during the 80's. I bet if did, I would have known about a lot more metal bands and could have seen some great concerts.
