Helping the Infantry in Afghanistan!!

Hey guys what's up? This is my first post even though I've been reading and getting great advice from the forums for a few weeks now. I am currently deployed to northern Afghanistan on small combat outpost in Kunduz. I can't say much else about it due to operational security other than my fellow buddies and I are infantry and in the hottest zone in this awful country.

I figured I'd post in this section even though I have a couple questions that could be scattered among the forums. We have a gym that contains only the most basic of equipment... dumbells up to 80lbs, bench, leg press, squat rack, pull up bar, dip bars, couple treadmills and a couple ellipticals.

The majority of us spend our couple free hours at the end of the day grinding out aggression in the wight room. Although our diets can be terrible due to some awful cooking, we have access to mail order supplements and have been taking the various protein, creatine, and NO supplements. Recently, we started using X-Tren (aka tren-xtreme) which I believe counts as a pro-anabolic and not an actual steroid. We've found pretty good results but was wondering what else we could be throwing in to our routines.

Any advice would be great... workout routines (which I have found a couple of great threads, since this community is one of the most helpful I've ever seen), basic supps, pro gear, etc. And if you'd like updates on the war I'd be glad to letcha know how it's going... well as much as I can without violating OPSEC anyways.

As for me, I get 15 days of R&R at the end of November. I'm 5'11, 218 and maxing bench at 285. I'd like to lose a good 20lbs of fat while putting on as much muscle as possible during my deployment (seeing as how this is the only stress relief/entertainment we grunts have out here). And like I said... I have my break coming up... I was 237 when I left home in April and would love to get some "WOW!"s when I get home. Thanks guys!:theranger
 
I should also mention that we've become addicted to the Crossfit.com work out of the days. They are killer! If anyone has any advice how to incorporate working out for size as well as endurance, feel free to chime in as well!
 
hey man.... someone more experienced than i am will definitely chime in here- i just wanted to give you props for defending our country and wish you the best of luck!

If you're not doing so now, stick to the compound lifts (squat, deadlift, bench, oh press, rows, dips, pullups, cleans, etc.) as the main lifts of your workout.
 
thanks for your service. I'd squat, dead, bench, ohp, pullup, rows etc. Beastdrol and epistrong would give great gains and I just saw that they are onsale. pct is necessary as they are very strong.
 
well, the issue with the Pro hormone, if you are tested.. you will come up positive.. the fda is taking steps to stop the sales, bodybuilding.com was raided last week and they are a company that is worth $100's of millions of dollars.. yes they have the $$$ for attorneys.

but with king obama giving the fda more and more power, just don't do it.. and if you are anyway.. go the whole route...

I didn't know that testing was an issue. Sorry, need2's products are strong and will show up albeit they are legal.
 
Fortunately if we were to get tested the only things they test for are the classic feel good chems, not the look good ones. And especially on my crapper of a forward operating base, they don't have the means to do that. That does suck to hear BB.com got raided... I first used them but found tfsupplements.com cheaper and also where we got the xtren. I know the first post sounded kinda noobish and I found most of the workout routines throughout the forums so thanks. I do have a question bout going the whole route as u put it SpyWizard. Maybe I should save that for a differant section? I know how some people love to flame when post are unorganized and being new I'll just go with the flow ;)
