help this newb, bottle empty ahead of schedule

10ml Geneza bottle. Injecting 1ml at a time. Done it seven times. Appears to be less than 1ml left in bottle.

What's more likely, I'm injecting more than 1ml each time, or the bottle just didn't have a full 10ml?

I thought so, I'm using a terumo syringe from TNB Medical. I pull back until the top black ring (closest to the needle) is right at 1ml. I'm I supposed to compensate for the space above the 0 mark and the needle space?

the measurements should be exact.. did the bottle seem to be full when you first got it?

yes, there is 'dead' space in a needle you must account for... i even draw a tiny bit of air to push out any remaining oil, so at least none is being wasted...

Didn't look that close, but looking at the other bottles right now, there is a little bit of a variance between them. I'd guess around .5ml.

Well, today I pulled back 1 ml, took the syringe out of the bottle, then pulled back to 2ml to get an accurate measurement. Sure enough, I had around 1.1 - 1.2 mls.

Glad to know it was my own fault and that I wasn't getting shorted.
