HELP PLZ!! Few quick diet questions..carbs + Flaxs = Fat??, Olive oil bad or good??

If you are NOT on a ketosis diet would taking Flaxseed oil hinder your cutting gains????

I am getting about 30 carbs in the AM with 300mg of R-ALA, and about 60g grams of Dextrose carbs after my workout with 300mg of R-ALA. 1 slice of wheat bread with 300mg of R-ALA.

I also take about 2-3 table spoons of Flaxseed oil a day.

one more questons...

Is cooking chicken with Extra Virgin Olive Oil??? It seems like the only type of oil that is ok to semi-fry anything in. Whats the take on this???


TOTAL:

100g Carbs
220g Protein
60g EFA fats

**all carbs before 1pm except the dextrose thats after my workout at 11pm, and all fat before 3pm

MY STATS:

Weight: 215lbs
BF%: 13% ?

not neccessarily....


your body needs fat, flax is a healthy fat.

it's all about calories....if you are taking in carbs, you need to monitor the fat calories you are consuming etc.


olive oil is good for frying, just again, be aware of the extra calories it will add to your food. Canola oil is good too.


60g of fat = 540 calories

you are getting only 1840 calories in a day....that is somewhat low....but if you are cutting, 500 below maintenance is where you wanna be....and I tend to use my lean body weight in my calculations....I think some people use their overall bodyweight....(don't know why)

Flax is a weak uncoupler so its good for burning fat.
Olive oil effects Uncoupling proteins so it burns fat as well.

They are both great to include in your diet but watch overall calories as if your eating more than you need to, you'll still get fat.
