I'm in a unique situation. I have read the ebook double your dating. Had some success with a few of the ideas. I am no means a player nor want to be. Just need to get the control back on my side.

Anyway, I am interested in this girl and have been talking almost daily to her. Met in college and went well. From the moment I saw her I have had a thing for her. She just got out of a serious realtionship two months ago. Trying to get closre from the A@#hole and forget about him. She has expressed interest in me but wants to be completely over her x before she gets into a relationship with me. Said there is definitely potential for us.

Your advice here. We talk and text almost everyday and have hung out once in the last 3 weeks. When I call her I get the voicemail quite a bit, or shell say she call back later. Or she won't respond to my texts. So ill be waiting for her to call back or text. It is happening more and more. Its like she only wants to call me. She works 15 hours a week and is always sitting at home doing nothing. Kinda a homebody. How do I get control of this one?

My suggestion would be to 'punish' her dont call or text when she calls you be keep it short and simple be like you know i can only talk for a bit going out to the gym,play ball etc.. let her miss you...

Sweet, I have tried here and there. But the anticipation gets to me sometime and give in. So by her doing this it would be like a game right? Wich would be a good sign. Like her playing hard to get.

Either she is playing a game...or she really isnt that into you.

I dont really buy the being over the ex line she gave you.

If its just a game then you got to play it better, distance yourself from her a little more and like faiz said let her miss you....and if its not a game and she really isnt into you then this method also helps to keep you from looking like the jack ass. Quit being anxious and get another girl and keep her on the back burner for a little bit

After two days no contact and still havent given her a burned cd and hat she wanted for her birthday. I texted her to see if we could meet up friday. Fucking busy. Been talking for last month. Met up once. We live 20 miles away.

This is a dead issue. You blew it with all of the phone calls and text messages. She was probably telling you that she needs to get over her ex first but that was an excuse. Then you were probably asking stupid questions like, "if you were over your ex, do you think we'd have potential?" Don't ever ask this type of desperate question - NEVER! She didn't want to hurt your feelings because "you're a sweet guy" so she said sure, we'd have potential. Move on bro and don't make the same mistakes again. It's not that girls don't like sweet guys, it's just that they like a little mystery and chase to go along with it. The most exciting guy for most girls is a confident, funny, non-pathetic guy that has his own life and isn't clingy. When she finds out that there's at least a little bit of a sweet guy inside that package she'll think you're pretty much perfect. Another thing, when she complained about her ex, I bet you tried to console her like you were one of her girlfriends by saying things like, "he's such an asshole". Never, never,never dog out a girls ex. NEVER! Your first hint here should have been that she said she's still not over him. Do you think she wants to here you telling her what a dick he is when she probably still loves this guy? Guys like you (not meant to be a knock) think girls like assholes but the truth is they just don't like pussies.
