well.....2 days ago. i mopped it up with anearby towel and tried washing it with some shower gel (all the cleaning stuff i had handy)....but its really began to wreak for the last 2 days

as in serious funk wreaking :(

i tried washing it again, with no luck, and emptied an entire bottle of fabreeze (the anti bacterial type) to no avail....it hasnt significantly killed the smell

what the fuck do i do....its fucking wrank

karma to all that have useful replies!!

serious? it will kill the smell? fabreeze didnt do shit, is the carbonated water really that anti bacterial, and will it remove the smell

i know a cleaner i could get some cleaning chemicals if they would be better?

Put it in a stainless steel container then add hydrochoric acid then sodium hydroxide in a very well ventilated room.

Evacuate immediately (run like hell) and return when the fumes are no longer extremely noxious. This will detroy the odor bro.

ps............do not do this, it is a joke....you know that of course.

The only thing that I can recomend 2 u Danielson is some hypochlorite , nuthin short of bleach will remove it , u could try some Persil maybe but when all else fails. Good luck.

Id say that it still stank so badly because you didn't get all of the shake out of the carpet yet. If there was any dairy product in the shake then that is what is causing the stink.

Get down to your local store and get a carpet cleaning solution with Orange Oil in it :) They always have names like "Orange Power", or "Orangey-Clean" etc...

This stuff works like a charm. I have a cat who likes to spew on the carpet during the night, so that when I wake up there is a nice surprise for me in the morning. So not only does the orange carpet cleaner get rid of the rank odor, but it also is very good at removing the stains.

Here is what you do. Get a bucket of warm water, a mild scrubbing brush (like for dishes), a cloth and the orange cleaner. Wet the affected area a LITTLE bit with some of the warm water, then spray on the a bit of the orange solution (not too much at a time) and gently work it in with the brush. Use the cloth and wipe away the foam. Rince it in the bucket of warm water. Repeat this process until you are satisfied, or the stain is removed, etc.. Works like a charm every time and gets rid of the smell.

cool, thanks bro's i'll have to keep a look out for both of them at the shops

on the plus side im outta this room in 1 week :D

try baking soda and water
about 2 cups soda disolved in a liter or so of warm water.

pour it in all around the spot even outside it a bit so it soaks in and puddles several inches around the actual stain..

the liquid from the shake went in where you see on the carpet but likely spread underneath several inches outside of that on the floor under the carpet..

Haha, this reminds me, last week I was booking out of a hotel where I had been staying on a business trip, when a full shaker of MRP fell out of my bag and smashed all over the reception the floor, I apologised and left in a hurry, that place must stink right about now... :D
