First some background and stats. I've been lifting for years, and about 8 years ago when I was bouncing I was 225 lbs 14% bf. I fell off for about three years and really let myself go. Wound up at 222lbs 26%bf, saw some pictures at my birthday party last March and got back into a health kick. In the last 16 months I got down to a current weight of 178 lbs and 12%bf. I'm on my 2nd week of trying a Max-OT lifting program, on a 3 day weight training split and 3 days of cardio, 2 days HIIT, one day steady state running. I currently eat 100 cal over maint on training days and 500 cal below on rest and cardio days. I'm 4 weeks into an 8 week Test E 375mg wk, Tren Ace 100mg eod cycle. I have quite a few cycles under my belt and used to run 2 10 wk cycles a year, though because of my age I'm probably going to cruise 250mg test a week between cycles. I'm also training for my first sprint triathlon in March. I'm 47 years old and my incline dumbbell bench is 100 lbs for 6 reps. My goal is to get to 180 lbs 8-10% bf in 8 months, which equates to gaining 9 lbs muscle and losing 5 lbs of fat. I don't want to do it the old way of bulk and cut, but rather through body recomp. I'm thinking of trying an IF diet and have read through the stickies on that. Is my goal realistic? Am I training properly? How about diet ideas? Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
