Hey guys. Sole your 16 years old ... You are still growing. You need to keep eating & often. What do you currently eat? & when? In school it can be tough so protein bars & shakes may be easier for you to chug/eat in between classes, seeing that you already eat 3 meals a day of real food. Can you make you own food? Do you have time?

Pvt lol Ugh McDonalds... I made the mistake of watching "Supersize me" & haven't touched the stuff since. I highly recommend NOT making fast food a staple in your diet no matter what the age.

eh, fast food is sometimes the only thing that can allow a kid to get the calories in..some 16 year olds metabolisms are in such a high speed they need over 5,000 calories a day to even gain anything..

I know quite a few people who eat mcdonalds all the time and still gain muscle and stay extremely lean. I'm certainly not recommending this approach, however, it is an option if he is an hard gainer

poysyn. then thing with eating fastfood to get calories is that they are empty calories. there is hardly anything benefical in fast food, therefore the calories are a waste.

sole, give us an idea of what you normally eat and how you train, then we can work with ya.

Not saying they are good calories, but I know plenty of huge guys that eat mcdonalds 3 times a day to get the extra cals in. If you need to consume 8,000 calories a day, especially at age 15/16, eating oats/rice/yams/the whole shmeal is just not even feasible..

I certainly do not recommend the mcdonalds, or any other fast food for that matter, but it is an option if hes an extremely hard gainer..

:)

Exactly.

Not everyone can put on weight eatin' chicken salads (get my point?).

at 16 you should be eating everything in sight! i remember being 18 and weighing only 140 lbs....i started lifting and eating everything....fast food, pizza, donuts....i would set my alarm at 3 am to eat 2 nutragain bars.....i was a hard gainer and if i didn't eat fast food and foods that were very calori dense i'm convinced i wouldn't gained weight. getting in 6 real meals was almost impossible back then.....if you can get a mass building shake get one. trust me...at 108 lbs mickey d's can only help. double 1/4 pounder with cheese :)

also try eating alot of anpb...you can do it in 6-7 months
