Help BFold to become a Professional Strongman!

The BFold StrongMan Donation support Fund

Ok guys here's the plan.

BFold is going to be competing in February for a Strongman competition... but unfortunately, it is not an all expense paid trip. Each competitor must pay for their own travel and lodging. This means, BFold must pay for his airfare from Kentucky to Boston as well as his hotel lodging.

I know he needs money for his plane ticket, and his family has taken on the burden of paying for his hotel.... but I say that WE are part of his family as well.

If each of us were to donate 5, 10, 20 dollars to him, he would have enough money to pay for his airfare to Boston, and maybe even lessen the burden that his parents would have to pay for his hotel accomodations.

I'm not in the greatest financial shape, but I am willing to donate $20 dollars to BFold for this. I am sure there are others who will voice thier support and donate the money as well.

I'm sure we can generate enough cash for this purpose, BFold, if he wins, will have the option of turning pro... to be a PRO-STRONGMAN... now this can only help our board.

I assume that if you are willing to donate, you can post up on this page, and we can provide you an address to send this money to... probably some place in Kentucky as that is where Clint lives.

I've thrown down $20 bucks...

I just called Clint and he is going to get online in about an hour or so...

He has a PayPal account you can send to, and also an e-mail address, that you an e-mail him for an home addy to send funds if you don't want to use paypal... (that way I'm not posting up his home addy and such)

I know that Warlobo has donated before, and that is totally coolio... I think others have too.

There are several members on here who are like brothers to me, Saint, Kronk and BFold... these guys are always there for me, and it is my time to be here for BFold and bring this issue up. :)

I contributed a pretty good shot for his last contest so I think Clint knows I will help him out again but it will be closer to the event date.

I wonder what his airfare will be?

doesn't paypal take a percentage of what you send? I understand this is the most efficient way for those of us that want to send money, but if so, how much?

The previous fund was for Nationals... this is a contest in Boston that has similar ramifacations... if Befold wins, he has the choice of turning pro.

I just had an idea... perhaps Clint could be sponsored by www.elitefitness.com????

I mean, Clint is sort of a bastion of training and fitness... He's always here for the members both in the training board, with witty Kentucky humor, and even off the board... It's sort of like an extended community... he could be a pro athlete, God Willing, after this contest... I think that says something very special.

I think it would just be cool to have Clint, in Elitefitness.com gear, maybe some Mass Quantities stuff... and perhaps have him be a spokesperson in return in the community of Strongmen... EF could compensate Clint for his contests and training in exchange for this...

It seems like it is a mutually benefical idea... EF will benefit from the added POSITIVE exposure, and Clint will get the sort of sponsor he needs...

Just a thought...

from what ive seen b fold has a nice place and a nice car, but he cant afford a trip to boston?

On a side note will everyone else throw in a 10 spot my way for my cut down cycle in february. Liquidex is expensive and the twins wont be out of diapers till around june or july.

Holy Flurging' Shnit Batman!! I agree with EVERYTHING you just said!!!!

Either hell is freezing over or maybe it seems that Bfold's influence on us has well surpassed the realm of training/diet/contest prep!!!!

Bfold knows that he can count on me for support. I will give what I can and he never has to say, "Thank you" Heck, if I could send him a big fat check (that didn't bounce, that is ;) ) I would still be indebted to him for all that he has done for me.

His surroundings are humble as is he and his family... but I can honestly say that he and his family are far richer than MOST.

Naive?? I don't think so. Hell... BFold could turn pro, very soon. People listen to guys who are 285-290lbs with his strength and muscle mass. He uses Mass Quantities products and is a huge participant on Elitefitness.

I mean, he could go do promotions at gyms in his area and other gyms in different parts of the country... perhaps get Mass Quantities sold at huge chains of gyms... I mean, there will need to be a structure to this of course... but I'm sure it could be done.

I don't think it is a far off possibility...

Could be done--yes.

Someone COULD write the code to increase message box capacity for platinum members. I'm sure it could be done.

Someone COULD write code to make the board faster for Platinum members. I'm sure it could be done.

Someone COULD make Triple Threat that actually lived up to its label 100% of the time. I'm sure it could be done.

The list goes on....

I really do not know what to say to all of this. I really do not. I hope that everyone on here knows that who I am here on Elite is who I am in real life.

Sorry...I just do not know what else to say other than thank you. I just want to live my dream and I can not do it right now. I just want to compete.

I have looked at a few plane tickets from Nashville to Boston and they basically range from $275-325 and I reserved my room today at $69 a night plus tax...3 nights. My family said that they would take out a smal loan to try and help me with my motel if I can just find a way to get there and pay for my registration ($50) and my meals. I am doing all that I can.
