i know im not the only one this happens to, and im thinking its a blood pressure thing, but alot of the time when i squat, i get a pounding headache, and sometimes feel slightly nauseas. can anyone else gimme some info to as why this might happen?
thanks folks!

Could possibly be the way that you are holding your neck when you do them too...just a thought.

Make sure you don't push back with your head puts to much stress on your neck....

Do you have sinus problems could be extra pressure from blood adding to existing pressure..

I get headaches when I lift when I'm dehydrated. So make sure you are drinking LOTS of water. It also helps to breathe.

i dont lift on an empty stomach, i drink plenty of water... when i lift, i get dizzy sometimes, i think its a blood thing tho, not a breathing thing. after a few sets, when im on the my few reps, i usually feel kinda dizzy.. i dont know if this is tied into my headaches either. could be a sinus pressure thing, but i dont know, anymore suggestions?

Could be a lot of things, Check your breathing. Do inhale going down and exhale going up? That's how I used to breathe when I squat. Used to get light headed and sometimes end up with headaches. Now I take 2-3 big breathes before I go down and I hold my breath as I lift. After I come up to the starting position, then I let all the air out and take big breaths again. I find that my muscles get enough oxygen when I do that. Bigger/heavier lefts require more oxygen some times. That was my case :-D
