Have i got a infection?

Virgin muscles

New member
I have been running test twice a week for 2 weeks now. Two of my injections have been fine. First one was really tender for 2-3 days, but my 4th one has been ridiculous. I'm injecting in glute (alternating) and 3 days have passed and I have swelling and slight redness (handprint size) and unbelievable pain, walking, sleeping, driving and sitting down. Is it because I'm not used to it? I am taking extra extra care in making sure I'm clean to prevent infection. I've looked online and I'm getting worried about what I've read. Can anyone give me advice? I really want to continue my course but I am freaking out. Should I get this checked out or give it some more time to see how it goes?

If you have a DR you trust I would go see them. I have been on partial hormone replacement (legit reason and real endo prescribed) the worst I ever got in 18 years on it was a red spot the size of a pencil eraser and even that was really rare.

Sounds like your body is rejecting it. I wouldn't use it.
If you can get some antibiotics then it might be a good idea to take them.

No don't really have a dr I can trust? Does this mean I can't mention I've used steroids? I need to get this checked as I'm sure it's more than just painful injection site. 5 days now and no sign of clearing up

Saw dr no signs of infection at present, just swollen and bruised. Should clear within a week. What could be the reason for this? What to do? Carry on with cycle or give it a miss?

if it was an infection it wouldn't just show up that fast

what you have is a classic tissue irritation caused by a poor injection or just plain bad luck. it can take 10 days to go away.

I would avoid wherever you pinned.. I would also suggest just so your muscles like what you are injecting to dilute what you are injecting a little bit with another oil

When you say avoid where I pinned, do you mean avoid that glute all together or just try a different area? What oil would you suggest? Could my body have a reaction to the test even though I've had two jabs that have caused no problems at all? I'm really apprehensive now and I'm afraid the same thing will happen again, but I really want to carry on :\

avoid that glute altogether for a while obviously.

mix it with another oil such as a little EQ or something that is smooth. you would be shocked at how much a difference it makes mixing oils

Okay I'll look into that. Is there anything wrong with injecting at the same site all the time? I don't fancy quads or delts so my other glute is the only option, but 2 a week for another 10 weeks in the same place..is that asking for trouble?
