Have a cold today- overdid it this week.

I guess I overdid my workouts this week because today I feel like shit! This board is so inspiring I got all excited about the process of getting to look like any one of you! So my question is this, I feel pretty weak, like all my body wants to do is sleep so I'm going to listen to it, but at what stage of getting better should I start working out again? I don't want to start to soon and pedal backwards. Roughly how should my body feel? (please don't think I'm stupid, it's just that this happens to me a lot).
 
I would probably start working out again when the weakness leaves.

On a side note - if your getting sick a lot you should start taking more vitamin c. I normally get 3 grams of vit c every day, and any time I feel an illness coming on, I load up with a gram every 2 hours til its gone.

Since I started doing this, I havnt been sick in ages.
 
I've read that glutimine is supposed to help with decreased immunity due to training.....Ang
 
take the day off, get lots of rest and sleep, then get back into it tomorrow. your workout may not be as intense, but at least you'll maintain. plus, it will give you that boost of energy that people seem to lack when sick.
